Nice job! Good to see that someone actually came and fixed it. The thing is i stumbled upon same problem withg material hit sound. If you hit for example rock the first hit will sound like generic\flesh hit and only after that like metal on rock. Could you fix that too?

Try immersive sounds compendium (full version), prepare to blow your mind.
It corrects combat sounds for when you hit wood, or steel, or rocks.
changes footstep sounds for if youre stepping on wood, or grass, or stone, or snow
      and so much more

I already adressed this in my own mod, in addition to adding new sounds for things that didn't have any like gems, lockpicks, rings, etc.

Glad there are more people who spotted this annoying issue though. Skyrim is a loot game that turns people into kleptomaniacs, and this kind of stuff is an important rewarding feedback mechanism.

lol geez, now I feel like an idiot, I actually have your magic and weaponry sounds installed from ages ago and never thought to look if you had a fix for the generic stuff, all my google searches revolved around bugs and what not. I'll link yours in my description, since yours is way better.
      -cheers

Hey lazyskeever your mod doesn't fix ingredient sounds though, so this mod still has a lot of use

For starters, i agree that Lazyskeever has some really great Immersive sound mods. And if anyone hasn't seen his mods, they really should! (hahah, kleptomaniacs, LoL)

However, that said, they do come at the price of memory, so currently i am using his Immersive Weapons mod, coupled with Audio Overhaul for Skyrim, some Icebreakers Reverb ... plus some scary skeletons & draugr as a final touch

i am hitting my v-ram limit of 1GB, so i can't put in every single thing i so dearly crave ... like improved audio for dragons, werewolfs, giants, and so on

So for this, i say, Thank you for filling the missing gap!
(because those inventories sure-as-hell sound monotonous)

Going to give this a whirl now :-)

Thanks, I'm glad my little tweak is useful to someone in the face of bigger more complex mods.

Yet another interesting mod pops up. Will have to give this one a test as well!
