Update 5: Added an optional file to allow you to change the color of your Dragon Aspect! Yes, custom colors! from shiny for good fellas to shady for bad guys, look at the pics on the images tab and make your choice. Use the Install Wizard to pick your color options or read the included document to help you install it manually. Make sure you select the same "cosmetic features" option (wings and tail, only wings, only tail, or none) as the one you picked on the main file. Select "yes to all" when NMM asks you if you want to overwrite.
Uploaded version 1.2c of main file that includes the following changes:
-Removed label WidDangerousSpell from Summon Firewyrm spell. So you won't have to deal with people complaining about it. -Edited shout scripts to reduce chances of CTD's and avoid log spamming. -Fixed rare issue where the Firewyrn active effect persist even after the Firewyrm's death. -Added documentation to help people with manual installations.
I know it might be a little too late to ask for a patch but, any chance we get patch for this to work with the "Skyrim weapons Positioning" mod by Metal-Gear-REX?
@ TorchicBlaziken: It would be possible, however, I try to keep the main mod SKSE-free (the only exception could be the Flying Mod addon, but it's an optional addon after all, for users of Flying Mod that itself needs SKSE).
@RobertSkyrim94: This mod can work with pretty much any custom skeleton that has a version for beast races (with tail). You just have to follow the instructions that come in the video in the troubleshooting section on this mod's main page.
i was wondering something like could miraak have one color and i have another? kinda sucks when his dragon aspect is the same color as mine T_T. makes me not feel special anymore.
same happens to me, every time I use dragon aspect it crashes and I checked the fly beta mod, animated dragon wings, and the fores new idles but I can't get it to work
IDK if this mod is still being worked on but I noticed a pretty significant oversight with the Custom Colors optional file. "Inverse Default" has no option to select Wings, Tail, both or none. All the other colors allow me to click "next" but that one goes straight to the "install" step. It also apparently only uses the "Wings Only" option, as I have no tail when using it. I did select "wings and tail" when installing the main file and even tested it again with another color and the tail appeared.
You know you've ran out of game to play when you install a mod like this. Works great. Remember to update FNIS behaviour files and you're golden. Fly through the sky, so high. *gulps skooma*
Is there a version of this mod that works with 'Animated dragon wings ultimate' and 'Flying mod beta'/'flying mod overhaul'. When i install this mod the game doesn't launch at all i press play and it all closes but when i uninstall this mod and press play it launches the game.
I managed to make it work with Animated Dragon Winds Ultimate, NOT using the older Animated Dragon Wings that's in the requirements. I'm not using any flying mods though!
Your game doesn't start because the mod wants to load up ADW as a master. Based on the mod description, ADW is only required because of the behavior file it brings, but I assume it's also included in ADWUltimate. So the plugin itself doesn't need ADW's esp, TES5Edit confirms this, and it seems safe to strip off this master. How to do this:
Temporarily download the ADW requirement and enable it into your load order. (You could disable ADWUltimate for this duration). Yes, this is necessary!
Load up TES5Edit. Find "More Draconic Dragon Aspect - Wings and Tail.esp" in your load order. (Or without tails, depending on which you installed).
Right click the plugin -> Select "Clean Masters (= remove all unused masters)". When prompted, say yes, you know what you're doing.
You can doublecheck in the plugin's header that the cleaning was performed correctly. For me at this point the plugins masters were only Skyrim.esm and Dragonborn.esm.
Exit Tes5Edit, save all changes. You can now permanently remove ADW from your load order, and can restore ADWUltimate in its place
Both the shout and the wings seem to work well and seamlessly for me, but I didn't test the other added abilities yet. EDIT: Abilities work fine
Does your race have a tail? Like a Khajiit or an Argonian? If it does, then the tail won't show up, it will only show up for non-beast races, like nord, imperial and orcs
A lot of these look amazing, but where does the blue color in the first picture come from? That doesn't seem to be any of the available color options...

I can't get anything but the arms and tail to work. The head and the wings and anything else that's supposed to load just doesn't.
