RUSTIC WINDOWS
==============

============
Description
============
This Skyrim mod replaces the window textures with enhanced versions of the Bethesda textures as well as new textures of my own. The aim was to remain true to the original design, but to improve the appearance of the “opaque” window glass. Keeping the textures performance friendly was a priority. Textures for the most part are 1K, with a few 512KB in size.

============
Installation
============
1. Use NMM to download the textures and activate.
2. Start the Skyrim Launcher and play.
3. Enjoy!

OR

1. Use the manual download link, and extract the files to a temporary location.
2. Copy file to your Skyrim Data folder. The file path is [C]Windows > Programs Files or Program Files (x86) > Steam > SteamApps > Common > Skyrim > Data > Textures > Architecture
3. If prompted to overwrite the textures select yes to overwrite the default textures.
4. Start the Skyrim Launcher and play.
5. Enjoy!

==============
Uninstallation
==============
NMM users, just deactivate the file.
Manual installers, just delete (or overwrite) the contents.

===============
Incompatibility
===============
Since it's just a simple texture replacement, it shouldn't conflict with any mods that don't change the default textures.

==========
Change Log
==========
1.0 version added.
Optional reduced version added with half-sized normal and glow maps.
1.1 version added. Reduced intensity Solitude Bards College and Blue Palace window glow maps and enhanced the normal map window glass texture. Added the DLC02 Thirsk Mead Hall window textures as optional download.
1.2 version added. Revised the glow maps to have color, to better preserve the original window colors at different times of the day.
1.3 version added. Changed the Whiterun diffuse (color) texture to remove the moss from the wood, as the wood only shows on interiors like the Temple of Kynareth.
1.4 version added. Whiterun diffuse texture again reworked to even out the color of the iron lattice window frames.
