I have a modding book on Amazon, "Newbies Guide to Modding Skyrim: Tips and Tricks for the Creation Kit." Available in print, Kindle, and audiobook (Audible, Amazon, iTunes)!
Check out this Blog Post for a gist of what is in it

Is there a way to mod the dragonborn's voice lines?

Thank you so much for making this! Your are awesome! See I'm a voice actor myself and it has bothered me for the longest time. I didn't think to go off of Vanilla Voices I kept making a new form and doing it from scratch and it was the biggest mystery to figure out since I didn't really know what I was doing. I just wanted to get my voice in the game: Here is the voice I wanted to put on an NPC: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fbqKxNM6IO0

There was a tool in development here by a talented modder ThreeTen but it was delayed due to his busy schedule it would allow us to make NPC'S out of ECE and Racemenu made player characters on the fly, I had planned to make my follower and voice him. I can still voice him but can't add the follower unfortunately.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us. One quick question, I can just copy a vanilla voice for say Mjoll or someone else then create a new ID by duplicating theirs. Then replace said files with my own then generate new lip files?

Great! I found a tutorial days ago but in that tutorial was a mistake regarding the copy (with or without the * ) Thank you for your tutorial here!

Yes the * refers to the VANILLA ONE THAT WAS EDITED.... NOT the COPY you made If I had figured that out in the beginning...

Big thanks for the information! Doing completely NEW sounds that don't just override existing sounds is really tricky! This should really help a lot of people in the modding community.

Thanks for this! I'm working on a mod and will need to add some voiced parts to it; this is just the kind of advice I was looking for.

far easier way of implementing your own voice files. Press "record" in the dialogue window, leave it afew seconds, press "Stop" (this will create the temp.wav file, then Record your dialogue in a program like audacity. Make sure it is set to mono track, 41000mhz and export it as a wav.. navigate to the sound folder where "Temp.wav" is, then name the file you are exporting as "Temp", click YES to overwrite, then tab into CK, click, "lip file from wav" with the file path highlighted, click save and i clikc generate lip files, old habits.

Actually, that just puts a new Voice file and folder in the correct directory. This tutorial also shows linking new voice file names.
What you say was how I did way back in the beginning. Actually still do that if I can't remember a "voice" name. Then I learned this and now it's just automatic and quick for me, done it so many times now

Thanks, I thought it would be quite intimidating but your pics made it seem quite easy. Been toying with an idea for a mod for a while so this might just give me the courage to try it
