Tested in 2020, with a heavily modded game, including AFT, and all I can say is...…..I absolutely, sincerely, and wholeheartedlyADORE this mod He is so adorable, he's a true friend who's always there to help, and I can tell Lorkhan truly cares about me, and all of us. He'll do whatever he can to make you feel better on a rainy day, and he'll be the first one to jump in front of an incoming arrow for you, even when he knows you're in full heavy armor and that bandit's arrow is going to bounce right off of you. He doesn't do it because he needs to, he does it because he wants to, and he cares about you and your followers.
The main takeaway is this. The Missing God didn't deserve what he got at the hands of the other gods. Lorkhan is a caring friend, a devoted husband of Kyne, and a loving father of all of his mortal children, even in death, and even of those who curse his name.
But in all seriousness lol, I've had no issues whatsoever with this mod. And I love the glowing heart that floats/orbits around him, it's really a fantastic touch. Excellent job with this follower mod, and its design! Thank you!!!!!!!!
But. . . but. . . Lorkhan is already married. He is Shor, and Kyne/Kynareth is his widow-wife.
Also, Lorkhan/Shor is still very much alive. Sure, he is said to have been killed by the Aedra, but that's only partially true. His heart is still alive (at least up until the events of Morrowind, after which we know nothing concerning it and it is not clear as to whether it was destroyed or simply vanished). Not only that, but Lorkhan/Shor has made appearances since his supposed killing. Even more, it is said to the Last Dragonborn that the reason Shor is not seen in the Hall of Valor is because "his mien is too bright for mortal eyes." That is to say, his appearance would have been too glorious for the mortal Dragonborn to witness—either because he or she would have been blinded (like how mortal are partially blinded when seeing Azura or being in Moonshadow too long) or destroyed outright.
And despite his insanity, I am partial to Mankar Camoran's interpretation of Lorkhan/Shor as a Daedric Prince (which, in turn, would explain why he could not truly be killed by the Aedra).
Aedras can be killed, but only in the realm they are in. But since they are omnipresent they can survive in all other locations they were not yet killed. Lorkhan is totally alive, just not among the other Aedras anymore.
ok this is confusing this mod i mean lorkhan is nirn so??????? great mod tough i just dont understand how this mod works in a lore friendly sense love the idea tough
It is an interesting idea , in my opinion quite out of lore , as Lorkhan is technically dead , but still can be very useful for the use which might make some storyteller . What is Lorkhan ? The universe of elderscroll , is the product of a dream of a divine dreamer , but just sleeps and does not know that 'it's dreaming. Lorkhan is many things, the most obvious is being the male principle of the universe, but can be read as the consciousness asleep and unconscious of the dreamer , waiting in a symbolic tomb ( The well- known , Death of god ) to be awakened and make conscious the dreamer , who is just dreaming. This should be done by bringing the main character to the realization that he or she is just a product and illusory dream , the dreamer ( Godhead ) . From that point on, the character should technically experience a lucid dream , and gain great power to manipulate the dream world ( Chim Stage) which is the one , which was acquired by Talos . The lore is pure smoke, the Aedra and Daedra are in fact a product of history and culture, but in fact are only the manifestation of the unconscious mind of the Dreamer. The real function of the lore is nothing but hide the fact that the dreamer is dreaming and is technically alienated from itself. but it also has the function to set up the path to bring the dreamer to full self-consciousness. The heart of Lorkahn technically should not be interpreted as an artifact, but it in fact the very heart of the main character, the two hearts are in fact one. The story of the heart of lorkhan is a deception. I will spare you the stage Amaranth, by nature much more complex. Of course the question is: what kind of video game saga is the Elderscroll? Definitely a very particular one, i think.
From my interpretation, the Godhead/CHIM thing is my character's excuse for his flighty, not-quite-all-there personality, and my excuse for some of the more bizarre mods that have found their way into my game. I'd say, if we're really the lucidity in someone else's dream, let's give him something worth remembering in the morning.
Not personally going to download this mod, because my character isn't enough of a world-breaking monster to go hanging out with Lorkhan himself (yet), but I would like to point out that, at its most basic level, the entirety of the Elder Scrolls lore is that the world is a dream. So let's give the Godhead Dreamer one hell of a weird night.

By the way this is a great mod and do you intend to adjust the horns to properly fit his head better?

However, a good job, thanks for sharing it.
