Any chance for a proper sse port? No other mod tries as hard as this one does, and even if it's not stable on LE either, I still want to at least try it.
I'm with you in terms of wishing man, but this is an LE mod, and from the sound of it, one too complex to port just by a mindless form43. and that's BEFORE vr compatibility. This one is probably lost to us.
Thumbs down, too many issues. I like the concept since i think Bethesda, made the hole Alduin, Sovengard horrible and laughable. this mod starts good, but after a while it does not enhance the experience just a hassle, sometimes you need to use TCL to get unstuck.
pretty good mod but i do have some questions about it like I wonder if this mod is compatible with "Dragons use thu'um" and also "Cult of the World Eater - Dragon Priests Buff Alduin". I also wanted to point out this weird glitch where Alduin does no damage to the player in stage 5 like he bites but no damage is being done and he doesn’t use dragons shouts either. and there also bugs where he just won't land in stage 5 or when he does land in stage 5 he takes no damage Edit: i feel like stage 2 activates too early especially if you have mods that give alduin more health like damage 10% of his health and boom stage 2 already.
I did this on a level 87 mage character on legendary, so it wasn't hard in any way, just more interesting than the vanilla fight. Just a quick overview what to expect:
Stage 1: Good and simple. A normal dragon fight basically. Dragonrend for quick results.
Stage 2: The stomach stage, just shoot some crystals, get attacked a bit while doing so, that's it.
Stage 3: Run on a bridge in a circle (can fall off but i respawned on it again; use Fus-Ro-Dah on three caged allies to free them; dodge meteors; kill some small dragons on the way. Use Fire or Frost breath to free the bridge from fire or ice. Use unrelenting force on the big boulders to let them rotate around alduin, then shout at them again to push them onto him for damage (like 4x i think).
Most interesting stage. Can't tell how low levels will perform in this, meteors everywhere, Clear Sky seemed to help a bit. Most annyoing is the knockoffs.
Stage 4: Ride an oversized alduin and shoot the red crystals again (like stage 2). Most annoying stage, because climbing sucks and you fall off the wings. Would be better with some sort of jump height multiplier.
Stage 5: Like stage 1 basically. For me, he was completely unkillable (his health didn't move one bit and my damage on lv87 wasn't that bad or maybe his health regen was bonkers dunno). Alduin himself was at level 150. I tried with Ultimate Dragons active and deactivated few times, same problem. Nothing else touched dragons in my game, dunno what the problem was.
If you want to try it, just make a save before Sovngarde, you can uninstall this mod after and go back to that save.
I'm sorry. I don't like this mod but I was angry when I first posted because I couldn't figure out what to do and the videos I could find weren't helpful. I loaded back before Alduin and disabled the mod and that solved my problem.
I uninstalled this for reasons, and now no matter how many times I reset my mods and load order the dragons are broken. This mode completely brakes sse. oh wrong forum
honestly same mate, this mod isn't bad in the slightest but all I'm saying is it's trying to take one to many steps and without it giving and tips or advice so you're just throwing everything at things until you managed to get the right thing to do. plus a lot in this mod seems to insta kill you which isn't great at all as it just makes the player dread redoing it when originally they might of enjoyed say seeing aludin being massive but instead seeing his size just means they're dreading to completely redo that stage
Edit: just searched for that and it seems awesome, but I need to ask you: have you ever had any issue with corrupt save files? I'm starting to have such problems with other quest mods (like Identity Crisis ;-; )
"The other Dragonborns" isn't correct, none of them are dragonborn, they're just non-dragonborn who happen to be able to shout (like the Greybeards). (And also, the plural of dragonborn is still just dragonborn, but that's significantly less important.) Just pointing this out because yeah.

I’m not saying this is bad, just not for me
