Hey everyone. I've decided to leave the Skyrim modding scene. If anyone wants to take over one or all of my mods, please let me know by private message (I get email notified). Otherwise, all of my mods are distributed with full source code in the BSA file, so feel free to alter them as you wish.
Jaxonz does not disappoint. The mod works exactly as advertised, even with a remapped hotkey (ins was already in use). Huge time saver. I kinda miss the audio cues, but it's a small price to pay. Kudos and upvotes and endorsements and stuff. Wish you'd come back to the craft, mate.
Does anyone know if this mod is compatible with General Stores - storage for packrats ( http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/18340/ ) and Craftable Cloud Storage ( http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25422 )?
This mod doesn't detect GS storage, I switch to GS + CS instead.
But you don't really need it with GS, for example when use my alchemy station, I open my ingredient storage, take all by pressing R, make my potion, open my ingredient storage, and click on store all option, and voila !!
Hey guys, I just got the Jaxonz Utilites pack, and I have to say this pack actually made my live a lot easier. But I'm having problems with the Crafting Helper - initially when i press "Ins" I got the message saying that it's pulling the mats in my inventory - nothing actually happened, even though I was next to a container. Tried interacting with the forge first, then hit "Ins" - same message, but the mats were not retrieved.
And now it's not even showing the message... the utility is turned on from the MCM, but neither automatic nor manual mats retrieval happens, and everything else from the pack works flawlessly, even the Renamer. Tried it on numerous Echanters, Forges and Alchemy stations, all the same. My Skyrim is heavily modded, but the only craft-related mod I have is the "Complete Crafting Overhaul" v1.5.
I'm having the same issue - I don't have the full utility pack, but I do have a number of the Jaxonz mods =) I also have a heavily modded game and CCO, I've turned off all auto-loot features in my mods and was using the hotkey only.
I'm having the same problem with all the crafting stations in Elysium Estate. On both manual and automatic I get the loading/returning messages but no mats are transferred. For manual transfer I used the hot key standing at the stations and after interacting with them. Nothing was transferred either way. Does this utility only work with vanilla houses and/or vanilla storage (i.e., not with linked storage)?
Edit: The one EE crafting station I didn't try before does work: when standing at the Cookpot, I can transfer the contents of the raw food container to my inventory and back. The raw food container is linked storage, but at the alchemy and enchanting stations nothing is transferred from the linked storage containers even though they are less than a virtual arm's length away in both cases. However, at the enchanting station, all the enchanted items stored in a container under the station were transferred in and out of inventory (but no soul gems from the linked container above the station). The armory does not have linked storage. I moved mats to the container closest to the stations. In every case I got the messages, but no mats were transferred when using the vanilla grindstone, workbench and smelter, or the skyforge. Tried both automatic and manual. I even put some mats in my inventory to see if they went to some container somewhere but at no station were the mats removed from my inventory.
"My Skyrim is heavily modded, but the only craft-related mod I have is the "Complete Crafting Overhaul" v1.5."
before you file a bug report ALWAYS do the following: 1) strip out ALL of your mods. i have the dlc and skse of of steam so i can't take those out. i don't play w/o usleep, and i use aslal to avoid the cartride to helgen, saveing about 10+ minutes. 2) ONE AT A TIME put them back in untill you can get the conflict to happen agian. 3) repeat from step one untill you have the exact combination of mods that are causing the issue - and nothing else in your system.
sometimes i have a mod conflict from unrelated sources, as an example: having frostfall enabled prevents me from feeding as a vampire in vampiric thirst, weither i'm using the hotkey or the lesser power. dialog options still allow me to feed. after stripping out all of my mods adding only the usleep, campfire wich is a master for forstfall, vamp thirst, and aslal for the vamp start, it still prohibits feeding with the "feed" power. i know those are the two conflicting mods, as nothing else is in my system.
why would a vampire overhaul and a camping/survival mod cause a conflict? they are two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT and unrelated mods, i don't know how or why they conflict but they do. and your post of "the only craft-related mod I have" tells me you don't really know the cause of the conflict. they may not be conflicting at all. it could be a third mod that does it. and can you replicate it with just the crafting helper instead of the bundle?
if you want help could you at least let us know what mods are installed, not just activated, but also installed and in your data folder? because the files from your mods are still there, they may be getting loaded even if the .esp/.esm is unticked. the .bsa files shouldn't be loaded without the corrasponding .esp activated, but the loose files may verry well be loaded no matter what.
i'm not (trying) to call you stupid, but i need some information to help.
I know this post is a little old, these containers are not real "container" for the game, just an "activator", that's why it's work with the container under the enchantment table and not with soul gems activator.
I try to resolve it on my own without success for the moment, Nicholas888 (Author of Quick menu, a good mod) give me this information :
This type of object is not a container ( form-type=28 ) but an activator ( form-type=24 ), i don't find anything in Jaxonz script about it :/ but i'm not a modder, so i certainly miss something.
Seems like a great idea, but I am having some problems.
With Alchemy, seems to be working perfectly, so the script is executing ... that much, covered.
With smithing, it grabs all the items from the container, but only puts back a small fraction of the items when I am done (tried using hotkey and automatic mode, both have the same problem). How can I go about diagnosing if the problem is a particular item in my ionventory that is freaking out the script, or if it is just too many items in the container? Any kind of log message I can look for somewhere?
Another bug is in automatic mode, where many menu options to craft are grey, but when I hover over the recipe, I see I have all the items... I suspect that that the problem is that items are still being loaded when skyrim draws the menu.
I use Vidani's bag of holding and was just wondering if it would be possible to use this mod with it? Maby if i dropped it from my inventory? Can you key it into specific containers? if possible this mod would be an amazing help. i also use automatic storage for vidani's bag of holding.
I use Vidani's Bag of Holding also. This mod doesn't seem to conflict but doesn't seem to transfer items from BOH either. My testing methods are not very sophisticated: placed the BOH on top of a barrel next to the grindstone outside the guard's place in Solitude. Standing next to the barrel, but nothing from the bag is transferring into inventory. Items from the barrel did transfer without BOH in picture, and #containers = 2 in the SKYUI settings. (Not sure what happened to barrel items when BOH was on top.) The BOH is stuffed with tons of items, though, so maybe that has something to do with it?
On the other hand, if I get used to storing items in containers near crafting tables I won't need BOH for that stuff very often.

Any one that knows a fix for this sins Jaxonz don't support it any more?

I can do the same for all crafting station
Thank you for the reply/information Sthaagg. ^_^
Less tedious works must be an objective
