    Sticky
Update: Version 1.1 corrects the file structure. Accidentally copied some textures to the wrong folder. Sorry about that. I blame a lack of sleep.

Better Signage - Inns and Shops endeavors to improve the appearance of the default Bethesda textures, to make them more detailed and dimensional. I hope people like this addition to their Skyrim textures.

Using this for SSE in 2021! Best sign mod if you still want vanilla style. Great work.

and so far it's the only one that I know of that doesn't cause clipping with jk's skyrim.

Project Clarity does a better job with the signs. They're sharper and higher resolution. This mod is very outdated.

I'm assuming this isn't compatible with ETAC?

Not if it changes the signs design from the vanilla game.

I want to see higher resolution of signs like 1k 2k.
No one do it yet for vanilla sign texture(not new design)
Hope you take a look at it when you have free time. Thanks for work.

Great textures, I really like them, but the Silver-Blood Inn sign is missing.

Yes, it seems I forgot to do Markarth. Funny, but you're the first person to notice that fact.

Is that the mod that makes the signs move? If that's case, then yes, since that mod only affects the meshes.

This mod deserves more credit. Readable signs with no worries about esps and compatibilities. I just replaced Signs of Skyrim and won't go back. Underestimated when judged by the number of endorsements.

Would you mind to make it for road signs too?

There are already some good road signs replacers on Nexus. I use Weathered Road Signs.

I always liked seeing the detail in the unique signs for businesses, but they tend to be hard to read and I probably overlooked a bunch. Now I can see all the placards and enjoy the little touches of character. Simple and small mod, but it makes the world nicer.

These look fantastic!! Question do you think you find a way to make your signs light up a night like the other mod that's on here? That would really make them stand out.

Sorry, I don't have any plans for that. Not exactly what I'd call lore-friendly.

These textures should work fine with Mystical Illumination. I just installed them myself, and I've been using MI for ages. The only one that may conflict is the blacksmith texture if you happen to be using one of the alternatives, e.g, the one that has transparency or something, so I just opted not to overwrite the blacksmith textures. MI only adds glow maps and, aside from the aforementioned blacksmith optionals, does not touch the diffuse and normal maps, which is what this mod does!

PS: "This mod should also be considered 'non lore-friendly' unless you make believe there is 'Magicka Paint' like i do... Yup, i said it- Magicka Paint." from the description, lol. 8D

the glow in the signs doesn't look that unrealistic to be honest. at least not to me
