This gives the ruins a very oppressive atmosphere, reminds me of the industrial hell parts of the older Silent Hill games.

This was amongst the first ever of the Skyrim mods I downloaded, it's a shame that it never got the popularity and attention it deserved.

Just an awesome mod. This is a must-have on my list of mods to give Skyrim more of a Morrowind feel and take me back to my favorite Elder Scrolls game. Thanks!

I notice you're still around and responding to comments, so I have to wonder, do you ever intend on updating this some more? I'm not trying to demand an update or anything, I just love this mod to bits and what it does to the Dwemer ruins, but there are still a few things that I think could be improved.

A couple years ago you mentioned you liked the way Markarth looked as metal and were working on doing a full Markarth version, yet that hasn't materialized. I'd be interested in that, especially since it would work better with things like JK's Markarth which end up having parts of the city as metal (your textures) due to presumably not using the Markarth-specific textures in the added segments.

Also, despite notation to the contrary, it doesn't seem to alter the Dragonborn ruins' granite-like stone, at least not for me, and this was the only texture mod I was using that would alter them. I've also noticed the normal ruin exterior LODs still appear to be stone at a certain distance, though that could have been the game not recognizing that I have this overwriting the LOD overhaul I was using. I should note that I was using the normal, unrusted version.

Of course, this last one is outside the intended scope of the mod, but it would be cool if the rubble that was retextured could be re-meshed to look more like scrap, bent metal instead of the metal-looking stone blocks that it currently is. It would complete the metal feel. Probably. Maybe.

I snatched up these textures after they were linked to from another texture mod. As someone who didn't play Morrowind, even I find these textures make the Dwemer ruins an extra level of creepy. It's especially more scary with the darkened setup I have going on in my game.

    Thanks!

The rusty ones do make the dwemer ruins feel more haunted, that's for sure.

Been using this for a while and only just remembered to endorse - as a member of the Morrowind generation I am incapable of not liking anything that ties the newer games to it.

    Great work!

Thank you so much for this mod! I always found the dwemer ruins from Morrowind way creepier than the stone halls from Skyrim. When you enter the metal dungeons you feel as if you really wandered into a WRONG place, and your character with a sword and bow is about to meet something way too advanced for him... like going with a stone axe against an AK-47. Overall - thank you for returning that amazing feeling to the game!

The mod is great! Dwarven ruins look so much better now. It's more Morrowind styled also.

Endorsed. Definitely looks much closer to Morrowind than default. Thanks!
