Anyone who know how to fix the equip delay? My game freezes for 2-7 seconds when equipping this.. I have no Graphics mod (because I simply don't need it) My specs are way more than enough to take this kind of Rerextures :x
EDIT: I have no lagg. Only problem is: When I load high quality textures (weapon retexture mods) the game will freeze for 4-5 seconds and then it's equipped without any further problems.. until I need to equip the bow.. My loading screen have a load time of 3-7 seconds - wich is really weird since I have 5 seconds of Weapon texture load-time.
Same for me. My computer is pretty good and can load Skyrim perfectly fine, but I don't know why the game always freezes when it comes to this mod. Edit: I've tried using the 1k version, and the freeze lasts about half a second. It might just be my computer, it's good but isn't a gaming one, so I recommend trying lower quality versions
I have a beastly computer and I have the same problem with the 4K version of this mod, but no problem with the 4K version of other mods like the Auriel's Bow retexture. So I have to assume there's something wrong with this specific texture mod.
Hi Alana12 i like to thank you for this very nice work and advice you about a little glitch that happened to me during the first installation of your textures, The invisible texture or corrupt like other users had happened to me too but here is the solution, your texture for the shield and bow don't have mipmap set and this is the problem. I recreated a mipmap for each textures with gimp and now they appear correctly ingame. I hope this can be useful to you and other people because these textures are really great !!!
Thank you very much! I know about this problem, I will update the files completely, when I have enough time to redo some parts of the texures. For the current version, using Optimizer Textures seems to be the easiest solution for this problem.
it's a pleasure to have helped you a little, i don't really know how "Optimizer Textures" work this is why i prefer to work with textures by my self but for people unfamiliar with gimp or other program like this it can be usefull. Cheers llStalkeRll
ok, again, looks good, just liek your bow retexture, but again, it isnt golden in my game like in the screenshots. hmm ok for some reason i got ctds now, when i try to open my inventory.
You have to install the cabals golden ebony texture, it comes with a new cubemap, which makes the golden shine. If you get ctds, try to install the files manually.
