But I hate those damn resurrecting spells that cost you to destroy that makes me indignant, there is a mod for serana that removes this resurrecting dead thing but I don't even know if it works in this mod, so I won't even risk installing it. And where can I find her?
She does not raise the dead like Serana does, she uses custom conjuration spells. As for her location it is in the mod description "Can be married and she is found at Drunken Huntsman in Whiterun where she will return if dismissed."
Awesome. Does this not break Vingalmo's quest though? The one where you are supposed to turn your wife? I'm a bit of a completionist and would rather not miss out.
You can try, save before accepting his quest though, save and when he gives you the quest give it a try, she is like Serana, not really vampire race in Creation Kit so it might work theoretically, I dont know if that quest checks for flags like ActorTypeUndead and Vampire or just race. I am guessing just race because there are no vampire followers in vanilla game (besides Serana who is not marriable at all without mods) so it would not make much sense for the script to check for flags but who knows. Providing the quest even allows doing that on custom followers regardless of their race. Never tried it on custom followers myself, that quest is one of the things someone should overhaul, make the spouse truly a vampire in all aspects, I would do it if I knew scripting in Creation Kit which unforunately I dont.

If you are thinking about a more lore friendly way of getting them I will make a new vampire related mod soon, and the mod will contain similar summons and you will be able to buy/find them.
Dont know about Bill though, but if you are that keen on them being called Bill I might make a new esp for you with three skeleton Bills.
Thanks for verifying my user-submitted screenshot. I couldn't get her to sit though, so using Puppeteer to make her hold a tray was some kind of compromise.
Great follower , only one thing though. If you use any mod that gives your character predator vision ie Better Vampires or Gophers mod that reveal auras she appears mortal, only a small issue mind but it would be cool if you could fix it. That being said she is an excellent follower and ive been using her for a good while in my game now. Fully endorsed!, thanks for your work.
Probable cause of that is her being NordRace instead of NordRaceVampire in Creation Kit, this is by necessity because otherwise Creation Kit immediately applies the vampire morph to her face and there goes her good looks. Serana is made the same way, she is also NordRace in Creation Kit, probably a hard coded limitation in the game engine that applies the morph as soon as Race is set to Vampire.
Did you try predator vision with Serana? I dont use the mod but I am curious if she will appear as undead, most likely no. I think Harkon and Valerica are also NordRace, all others who are set as Vampire Race have the morph. I dont know if an override exists, I will check but if it did exist Bethesda would probably use it, because in the vanilla game vampire strengths and weaknesses are set through Spell called abVampire, not through race or so it seems, creating Serana, Harkon and Valerica as non vampire race was a tradeoff to give them non morphed look judging from how Creation Kit handles morphs.
It seems that mods that give the player predator vision probably check for the race, not keyword ActorTypeUndead in the Creation Kit which is why this happens. When I made her I tried many things to give her vanilla look with vampire eyes with NordRaceVampire but it never worked, importing spf file for her face didnt work either, NordRaceVampire immediately applied the morph, so I used the same "trick" Bethesda used. Glad you like her, I will see if this can be fixed in some way
Hello mate thanks for the reply!. To answer your question about Serana i can confirm that she does appear as undead. That is actually how i discovered the aura effect on Morinth one night creeping around Morthal in the game. First i checked to see if it was only the vision in Better Vampires and so tried it with Gophers Predator vision with the same result. Serana had no aura and nor did another follower i use, the Verika vampire companion also here on the nexus.
Interestingly enough though i also use AFT and discovered that by using it to make Morinth a Vampire Lord this not only made her appear undead too, removing the aura effect but did not alter her appearence!. Perhaps as you say an override does exist if this can be done using AFT?. My modding knowledge is limited but i can see the difficulty of creating a vampire character without the vampire faction Dawnguard facial features. Even with Serana i use mods such as Seranafangs to give her a more vampiric look due to the way Bethesda designed the female Vampires.
On another note id like to say how well Morinth works with other Vampire faction altering mods i use. With the Bloodthirst- Vampire NPCs Can Feed mod i have seen her grab enemies in combat and feed on them as well as sneaking around towns, cities and buildings to feed as i do. She also works well with the Friendly Vampires mod and a good few others i use!. So like i said in my last post thanks for making a great Vampire follower and spouse!.
I will recheck Serana in Creation Kit to see if there are any vampire flags I missed, thanks for reporting. Nice to see Morinth works properly with other mods and that you are enjoying her so much It is unfortunate that Bethesda decided to make Dawnguard vampires butt ugly, they could have designed them to be much more appealing, but then again some people might accuse them of being stereotypical then, and that burnt face texture didnt help either
Fixed (1.01), it appears I missed one flag which I added now and she appears correctly when using Detect Life and Detect Dead spells, please let me know if she appears correctly for you in your game.

Not sure what can cause that, she works properly on 2 computers I use for testing my mods, have you tried reinstalling the mod or moving her in the load order? She uses one of the vanilla voices specifically chosen to be compatible for as many lines as possible (including marriage and adoption lines). I had that issue with some followers I downloaded from the Nexus, for unknown reasons sometimes, not always, voice would not work, lines are there like you said but no sound, they also used vanilla voices so I never found out why they sometimes fail to work, maybe one of those weird Skyrim glitches, I will check if there is any solution for that.
Her voice is also vanilla voice so it should work without issues, unless FemaleSultry is glitchy in some way or glitches out for some in certain circumstances. Nevertheless I am glad her voice works for you now
Thanks for that information, too bad because FemaleSultry sounds great for some characters, still it seems the glitch doesnt occur always and their masking sometimes works fine. I might do some editing to that voice now I know the exact issue, USKP fixes that error but I will see if I can fix it myself and give Morinth that fixed FemaleSultry voice as not everyone uses USKP.
I can help with this. The problem isnt with Morinth its with female sultry voice type. I had the same problem with my other favourite henchwoman Eola for ages. Some of her follower voice dialogue just wasnt there. Again it is something that Bethesda didnt patch. This is solved with the newest USKP update though. I use Morinth along with Follower Commentary Overhaul which adds a lot to her dialogue idles.
Thanks for the new update. Love her Sith robe look and new powers. I also downloaded your new mod Lucy. Great idea. It will be some time before i can adopt her though because i went back to an earlier save and dont have a house yet in the game. Me and Morinth are currently living in Movarths Lair. I have never adopted in the game before so Lucy will be something different.

Yes LittleFighter provided information that it is Bethesda to blame for FemaleSultry not working properly. Someone was lazy in Bethesda, no wonder only Eola got that voice Even worse is that they never fixed it. I didnt adopt much in the game either, only for testing, as I usually end up being a vampire and having common children in the house looked totally out of place. Movarth's lair? Any problems with respawning inhabitants?
No I use Guru Srs friendly Vampires. It makes all undead, Spiders wolves etc non hostile and NPC Vampires followers. I just killed Movarth and took over the cave and all his fellow vampires. A great mod i highly recommend it.
Interesting, I will check it out, I was thinking something along similar lines, to edit a vampire lair in a way that it can be cleared, stop it from respawning and make containers safe so that a vampire player can use it as his or her home once it is overtaken.
I have 300 + active mods, from Russian, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, most non PG 13, considering that she is a great companion, although a holocaust magnet, she gets beaten on a regular basis by selene, mephista, the succubus squad, lotr girls and hanali, she runs scared at the sight of baby dragons, and girls with pink boots and black wings, she has a tendency at higher levels to pick up strange weapons and summons, she goes crazy for days fighting turbosnowy queen until the ctd pops up, she rampages thru towns from time to time, she refuses to wear what you give, but gets lost for days and arrives naked or a micro bikini, having dumped all the stuff she had, she goes crazy with the queen of blades and fight to no end, she is a magnet for armored rapist werewolves and the hunter squads, and she cries when the huge chicken attack happens, and she has fried me several times, and thrown out cliffs to protect me. So overall she is very good. Thanks for the good work.
