Hi, thank you for this i think i will try it, i like the classic/epic music but i love the metal too. I think the metal is best for fight dragons because i need all the adrenaline for fight becuase with all the mods i use to make the dragon really epics. I had only one question, this replace the vainilla combat music or add more ?
Well after hear both videos i think choose the metall version, the violin is nice and relaxing but i dont think fit in epic battles. Which is wich is which ??? i want keep the metal version.
They only replace the "boss" music (not necessary only the dragons), so against the final enemies of Dawnguard and Dragonborn they will play as well.
I tried to add more musics, but i couldn't find the right script =/ The violin theme will play alongside with the main theme of Skyrim (with small edits, no intro/melancholic ending and more louder) and they fit pretty well if you ask me. Specially because the violin only play after the main theme and you are (suposelly) already fired up. And remember that i used the violin main theme, not the intro played in the video of the description (that intro is relaxing to the point of provoking sleep, i know)
I keep the two best vanilla boss themes (in the opinion of the majority and in mine opinion as well). I tried to make this as much lore friendly possible, so the theme of Anduin destroying Helgen was not changed and even the metal versions are lore friendly. I only get rid of this song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BxQLlSwVxGg Its a cool song (not as cool than the other 2, let us agree) and maybe better than the violin version... So if you want this one back or have a better sugestion, just ask and i will rip the violin apart =)
so I updated the mod, and it didn't fix it. it still plays the other boss battle songs while fighting dragons. the only thing I noticed when I updated the mod was after the metal song during a boss fight would play, a few different smaller songs that sound a little like the metal song would play, and while fighting dragons it will play the Skyrim main menu theme. can you make a version that makes it just play the metal song while fighting bosses? (instead of all the different boss music songs it would only play the metal song)
Strange... Are you sure pasting in the right directory? Well, anyway, the file with the metal songs is the third one, the "mus_combat_boss_3.xwm". If you only want the metal songs, just delete the other two. Now you copy the third file 2 times and rename then to "mus_combat_boss.xwm" and "mus_combat_boss_2.xwm" respectivelly.
3 same files, but with 3 different names. All in the same directory =) Sorry for the delay.
Edit: hmm... so what dose this mod do exactly? no music is changed while fighting dragons. I would like the metal song to be playing while fighting dragons, but I put the file in data and nothing changed.

Now all songs should play correctly. I searched for extended scripts and methods to expand the "play list", but i can't find it... So the only solution i developed was put two songs together in the same file (vanilla only have 3 boss musics), so now the total number of different songs is 7.
Yet again, sorry for the bad english, not my first language. The idea was mix and split the music... So if someone knows a method to add more files to the boss battles... Man, that would be awesome! Theres a bunch of great lore themes out there. I used the best i could find, so i hope you people enjoy this =]
