hi. first of all, thanks for this. most of the mods that i use were covered so it saved me a lot of time. one thing though: the masters on the ones i'm using aren't sorted (frostfall and cco). all you have to do is right-click in xedit and hit 'sort masters' to fix.
Hello Daniel. Related to your note about Unlimited Bookselfs, I would like to point out that mod is now managed by Nazenn and has been brought up to date. I am unsure if you were aware of this, but note in the mod download page still remains.
By the way, thank you for these patches. They are added to my game and I have endorsed the mod here in Nexus.
bookshelves script SKSE by McGuffin has not been updated since 22 September 2012 Bookshelves Updated SKSE Script by mdr (v1.3.1 updated on 16 July 2016) is no longer being maintained since Nazenn has taken over Unlimited Bookshelfs from da5id2701 with version 2.0.
So would also, too, recommend taking another look at Unlimited Bookshelfs.
BCS - RBA Patch.esp is asking me to order my plugins as follows: Skyrim.esm Dawnguard.esm Hearthfires.esm Dragonborn.esm ReadBooksAloud.esm ReadBooksAloud - Skyrim + 3 DLC's.esp
Meanwhile ReadBooksAloud - Skyrim +3 DLC's.esp is requesting the following: Skyrim.esm ReadBooksAloud.esm Dawnguard.esm Hearthfires.esm Dragonborn.esm
This seems somewhat important, considering we're dealing with the core game plugins.
EDIT: The below is no longer relevant with version 3.5
Just a heads up - the most recent version of The Choice Is Yours also adds its features to the Aetherium Wars book, so the patch needs to be updated for that to work. In case it doesn't get updated officially, it's very easy to do in TES5Edit.
1) Load The Choice Is Yours, Book Covers Skyrim, and the TCIY-BCS compatibility patch found here in TES5Edit. 2) In TheChoiceIsYours.esp, open "Books" - you should see a red record for the book in question. 3) Right-click the red record (DLC1LD_AetheriumWars) and click "Copy as override into..." 4) Select TCIY-BCS Patch.esp and click OK - say "Yes" when it asks you to allow it to make Dawnguard a master. 5) With the record selected, drag the Model\MODL, and INAM values from Book Covers Skyrim.esp to TCIY-BCS Patch.esp - this should change the record and elements from red to yellow. 6). Exit TES5Edit, choosing to save the changes to TCIY-BCS Patch.esp
I use Book Covers Skyrim as part of STEP and just found out that I need this patch if I install Requiem.
Just wanted to know if Your patch still works with the last 1.9.3 Requiem edition. Heckur at Requiem recommends to use Your patch but I just wanted to have an "go" from the mod author.
What is the recommended load order for the patch. I have not found any infos on it yet. There is a REQ - BCS Patch.bsa and REQ - BCS Patch.esp for REQUIEM EN. Guess the .esp should be placed below REQUIEM.esp with all the other patches, right? It could be also placed below Book Covers Skyrim but above Requiem.esp. Which one is right?
Does anyone still take requests for patches? I use "Learn Alchemy From Recipes" by NeoRunek When the player character reads a recipe the mod automatically adds it to your known list for the next time you do alchemy. It is a very old mod (last updated April 2013) but I cannot find a newer one that does the same thing. LAFR changes all the recipes and a few books but keeps their vanilla appearance. Currently, I can have either BCS changes to appearance (and bounds) or LAFR changes to functionality. I do not have the expertise to merge the two mods so I was hoping that someone more knowledgeable would find a way.

Principal change was to support Requiem 1.9.4 (English)
God bless.
