Malone have you tried a manual install? If NMM isn't dropping the files where they should be it could be antivirus blocking the program's persmission. That or uninstall all your mods then reinstall NMM.
Is there a way to make this mod specific to a specialized character like a custom race or a custom follower? I'm running a custom race on sse and wanted to see if instead of giving everyone skills only I get them.
It seems like this mod is broken. Most of the new people aren't able to get it to work. Here's an alternative until the mod author comes back and fixes this problem:

Actually, never mind. That doesn't seem to work either. It doesn't have a plug-in to activate. I don't know enough about mods to know what's wrong. None of the animation mods seem to work for me. Super bummed.

The reason it doesn't say that it requires DAR is because it doesn't require DAR. I used this back in the day, before DAR even came out.
That said, it's been years since I last used it and I don't have any advice for those having trouble with it, because I don't remember any details about it.
Thanks. I thought something was wrong with that suggestion. It would be listed SOMEWHERE on this mod, I'd think. Did you ever use another mod like this that does work? I can't get into Unarmed vanilla. It's terrible.
Sorry, but it's been years since I played an Unarmed build. So I don't really remember what all mods I used. All I can suggest is searching NEXUS for them. Good luck!
Hi. Glad someone else is just posting too. Are you using MO2, and do you have SkyRe installed? I'm wondering if it has something to do with this? It's not working for me either.
Stupid question here, but is a right and left power attack simply holding the mouse button? I can't get my character to kick for anything, but my brawling partners are having no trouble. I've even tried moving to the left and right while holding down the mouse key. I feel stupid, but am I doing something wrong?

Can somebody tell me how to get unarmed combat animations to work without disabling pretty combat animations ultimate c and the like? This doesn't work, Nier2B doesn't work and the only one that did "work" looks great on the little videos here, but the character just moves very weird, like headbutting her knee while trying to do a high knee thrust. wwtf?
i dont understand i put the mod in manual and nothing. not a damn thing. like its not reading it at all and i try putting it in nmm and it says its read only, of corse i cant seem to connect nmm anymore i just got my computer back after about 4 years of traviling the county and now i feel like im missing something simple. i hope i get an answer to this im kind of out of the loop\

I installed your mod via Skyrim Mod Organizer and for some reason, it doesn't register in the second box where the mods could be sorted.

Perfect combination and both work together
