Got here from wearable spell tomes.. viewing some of your other work. I think I might add a few in my load order. Anyway, I'm here just because of the name of the mod. at "and leather bracers" I totally lost it. Dat imagery too.
same story here except for the part where you decided to try this mod out.
i'll just stick with my scientifically refined practice of transmuting iron to gold for alteration skill, crafting basic gold rings for smithing(rings instead of necklaces because rings craft 2 at a time), soul trapping weak animals like deer via spell for conjuration(rather than weapon enchantment soul trap which levels nothing but the weapon it's on), killing and looting said animals, enchanting those gold rings i crafted, and finally selling the rings for speechcraft and gold.
my practice levels up at least 6 different skills equally instead of just 2, and that's not even counting the xp for whatever damage means i use to kill the soul trapped animals. i can mix that up with different weapon types and destruction spells as well for a total of 10 skills equally leveled.
That's intended behavior. Practice daggers are worth a lot of gold and they're automatically replaced with normal ones so you can't just crank out a million practice iron daggers/leather bracers and get rich quick.
If neither of them are working, I suspect that they're not being installed correctly. If the Practice Iron Daggers and practice Leather Bracers aren't available for crafting in their usual categories, then the mod is not properly installed.
For Linear Smithing Tree, if you don't see the revised perk tree, it might be an issue with installation as well. Alternatively, if you have another mod in your load order that affects the Smithing perk tree, the two mods are likely incompatible.
This is probably old news to anybody who has already downloaded this mod, but there was an error in the original upload that I was not aware of until now. If the mod wasn't behaving properly (not replacing your practice items with their regular variants), that's my fault. I apologize not only for this error but also for being so late in fixing it; I was unaware of the problem.
This issue has been taken care of and the mod will now function 100% if you download and install the latest version.
