Made a quick video from mountains
It's fully compatible with ENB's terrain parallax!

    Recommended mods:

I'm running my game with mods like Smim, Better Dynamic Snow, Distant Decal Fix, Vandr Presents - HD Imperial Tower, Ruins Clutter Improved and Skyrim HD - 2K Textures.
-You can though don't have to install them. They all are findable here on Nexus.
-You still can use all mountain textures you want, only get sure they are installed at last.

You better don't use TextureOptimizer or something alike, the main textures are packed to highest level, only some parallax maps are uncompressed greyscale images and show up distorted if compressed.
They are the same size as a compressed, transparent 512 texture and won't lower your performance anyway.

    Install order:

    Easy but less performance friendly:

-If you want to use the mods mentioned above install them first.
-Install the Loose Files archive of your choice (512 is Vanilla original size, 2048 is HD)
-Install the compatibility patches and color packs if wanted.
-Install the NON-ENB patch, if wanted.

    Performance friendly way:

-If you want to use the mods mentioned above install them first.
-Install the BSA archive of your choice (512 is Vanilla original size, 2048 is HD), activate it's .esp and move it to last position of your load order.
-The content of a BSA gets always overwritten by loose files, if you want to use Vivid Landscapes primary you have to delete overlapping files from other mods. Here my "Loose Files - archive" comes into play. It's content is the same as the BSA ones and you can use it as template to delete conflicting files in order to give the BSA priority (packed files run always smoother than loose ones - means higher framerate & shorter loading times)
-Install the compatibility patches and color packs if wanted.
-Install the NON-ENB patch, if wanted.

All overlapping meshes from SparrowPrince's "distant Decal Fix" his "Better Dynamic Snow" and Brumbek's "Smim" are incorporated, if you want to use their whole work you have to download it from their site.

I have a question. Are textures hard-wired to models from this mod or can I use both textures and meshes separately?

it depends... some are very bound to the meshes, others quite loose... just try it out by renaming them to replace whatever you want

Hey there, missing some textures from the top of the Standing stones just after the Helgen Cave. Has something like this been reported yet?

Edit: Forgot to mention, I am using the "Non-ENB" patch. I'm Currently using ENBoost, does this affect this at all? No other textures are missing as far as I can tell. When the stones are activated, the lines that glow are still visable. I am also using DynDOLOD for this. Would this affect the textures going missing? Thanks.

EDIT 2: DISREGARD, simply re-downloaded this mod and re-ran DynDOLOD, the problem is fixed!

jesus christ 29 files. for an ''all-in-one'' mod this sure isn't very all-in-one...

How about you press on the page and actually look at the files. Third file is "Vivid Landscapes - All in One - BSA archive 2048" which is the only file you need.
He was just kind enough to include 4k patch, uncompressed, non-enb and a ton of other options.

Hey everyone! This mod is Awesome and works perfectly for me. I'm just here to offer some advice for those that may have some issues with SMIM.
If you are using the 3D chain option from SMIM you have to LOAD VIVD LANSCAPES BEFORE SMIM in M.O. In the LEFT PANE. Even though there are no conflicts vivid landscapes causes the texture for the chain mesh to be flagged as "missing" and show up purple in game.
Just thought I'd let people know about the issue as I've seen this question poised on other forums.
