I'm running my game with mods like Smim, Better Dynamic Snow, Distant Decal Fix, Vandr Presents - HD Imperial Tower, Ruins Clutter Improved and Skyrim HD - 2K Textures. -You can though don't have to install them. They all are findable here on Nexus. -You still can use all mountain textures you want, only get sure they are installed at last.
You better don't use TextureOptimizer or something alike, the main textures are packed to highest level, only some parallax maps are uncompressed greyscale images and show up distorted if compressed. They are the same size as a compressed, transparent 512 texture and won't lower your performance anyway. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Install order:
Easy but less performance friendly:
-If you want to use the mods mentioned above install them first. -Install the Loose Files archive of your choice (512 is Vanilla original size, 2048 is HD) -Install the compatibility patches and color packs if wanted. -Install the NON-ENB patch, if wanted.
Performance friendly way:
-If you want to use the mods mentioned above install them first. -Install the BSA archive of your choice (512 is Vanilla original size, 2048 is HD), activate it's .esp and move it to last position of your load order. -The content of a BSA gets always overwritten by loose files, if you want to use Vivid Landscapes primary you have to delete overlapping files from other mods. Here my "Loose Files - archive" comes into play. It's content is the same as the BSA ones and you can use it as template to delete conflicting files in order to give the BSA priority (packed files run always smoother than loose ones - means higher framerate & shorter loading times) -Install the compatibility patches and color packs if wanted. -Install the NON-ENB patch, if wanted.

hello!, i just download your 21k-1k version and i dont have words its beautiful, i really dont know how i have playing skyrim without our mod.
i wish to use aother of your mods that its vivid- landscape woods, it is safe to installing after installed vivid landscape -all in one? can i install realistic water two with your mod ?
The 4k texture for the wooden posts that attach to the wooden gates doesn't work it just blacks out. Tested on a very small load order with only 2K Skyrim and SMIM as other texture mods that load before and are overriden by it. Edit: It seems to be a mesh issue I deleted all of the meshes to test it and the texture was fine. Edit 2: The problem was the Helgen meshes in clutter getting rid of it is what fixed things
Even if this be a popular mod i like your thinking for potato computer users <3 I use 512 resolution version, its made my game more realistic, i even compared two screnshoots before this mod and after. What i gain is More realistic general vision and also 0 fps lose.
CTD near Windhelm corrupted meshes and textures dds. The texture was ropealpha and i think i had corrupt meshes from farmhouse too.I guess i need get nifhealer rip. I use the performance version 1024 with 2048 the loose file version. Here what i found it comes from this mod.Crash fixes log. 18 Jan 17:33:45 Game has crashed while setting string (this could still be corrupt NIF crash), stack: A512A1 AB1D01 AB4049 C6F520 C6F9DE C8C097 AB2923 AB0485 AFDFA8 622743 AC6580 AC65A0 TEXTURES\terrain\tamriel\tamriel.8.8.-8.dds" 0.062000 seconds ago. The meshes shouldn't be a problem, though many people seem to have trouble with the file format I used for my farmhouse textures. They work flawless for me and many others, that may be caused by different driver settings or even the graphic card tipe itself (have an Nvidia). I'm going to convert the files to common formats and reupload the whole mod very soon;)
Well I must say, I just installed the All in One 2k, and WOW! I had used your mountains for many years, but did not convert to the full experience. Thanks to the recommendation from Exalerion's Revenant ENB guide, I installed it (with ENB) and I love the different feel your textures provide.
You can certainly feel that eras have passed when walking the corridors of ancient ruins.
The farmhouses are wonderfully natural (especially the roof).
The birthsigns look like very ancient monuments indeed
The tundra floor is fantastic and looks just real. It combines well with SFO 2.81 and its new tundra grass
Moreover, the balance between performance and visuals is great, I guess thanks to the parallax.
So a big thank you for sharing your work!
PS: for those looking to improve the appearance of their game, check out the Revenant ENB page. The author clearly states the steps and has a great list of mods (this is how I found this one) and recommendations.
Thank you Clarrency, great to hear it meets your taste! The Tundra floor is actually one of the more controversal parts, many say it's just to far from original... which is why I like it;) Actually this mod doesn't use parallax yet, just my standalone SSE mods do... have to add more of them so I finally can update the All in One as well

It's fully compatible with ENB's terrain parallax!
