I'm a little bit bad at explaining but all the settings before we get started:

    Profile settings:

Game FOV - This will change how wide your view is. Low FOV is like zooming in, high FOV will make you see much more but also shrink everything to fit it on the screen.

Debug FOV scale X - It is not recommended to change this setting! It will change similar to FOV but on one axis only, for example change FOV only horizontally. This setting can cause problems with particles and shadows if not at 100.

    Camera back / forward
    Camera left / right
Camera down / up - This changes the position of the camera in relation to your character's head. For example if you set camera to 100 right and turn around the camera will still be on the right side of your head. These settings can be useful if you don't like the camera position e.g. too close to head or too low etc.

Rotation modifier a.k.a. head bobbing - This is a % value of how much rotation is applied to the view from your character's head. For example if this value is 50% and your character's head (only) looks 90 degrees right your camera will look 45 degrees right. Setting 0 disables all automatic rotation of camera from head movement.

Restricted angle left/right - This modifies how much you are allowed to look left and right. If this is 90 then you are allowed to look 90 degrees right and 90 degrees left of where your character is facing. If this is 0 then you can't look left or right at all, camera only moves with player head. If this is 180 there is no restriction of where you can look.

Restricted angle up/down - This modifies how much you can look up and down. Default value is 90 which means you can look completely down and up. If you set 45 then you can only look halfway down and up. If you are having immersion problems with seeing your character's face then this setting may be helpful to restrict the view angle a bit.

Near distance - This changes how close objects can be to your camera before they are not drawn anymore. For example if your character drinks from a tankard then the tankard will come very close to your camera and as a result it will just be clipped / not drawn. If you lower this setting the cup will be drawn, as a side effect mountains in the distance will start to flicker. So the ideal setting would be as low as possible but still high enough that objects in the distance will not flicker.

Far / near view mode - If we are in near view mode we use the near distance value of "near mode" and if we are in far view mode we use the near distance value of "far mode". This setting can be useful if you want to switch between those two while playing. There is also an option to automatically set near mode in interiors. You can also assign a hotkey to switch between these values.

Fade in duration - This is means that if we switch to current profile from another profile we will fade the settings from the previous profile for this many milliseconds (1000 milliseconds = 1 second). For example if your previous profile's FOV is 110 and current profile's FOV is 90 and fade in time is 500 then the FOV will go from 110 to 90 in 0.5 seconds by fading, so that at 0.0 seconds we use FOV 110, 0.25 seconds we use FOV 100 and 0.5 seconds we use FOV 90.

Fade out duration - This is same as fade in but instead of entering this profile this time is used when leaving this profile. So the actual fade duration is fade out duration of previous profile + fade in duration of new profile.

Profile hotkey - This will set default profile to this profile. It is still possible that some other profile is overriding the default profile so when you press this key nothing happens. Default profile is chosen when no other profile is overriding.

Disable HUD / Menus - This will remove all HUD / menu elements. That means no crosshair, no names of objects, no inventory, no menus, no health bar and nothing. This can be useful for cinematic settings such as killmoves or complete immersion. Menus are automatically re-enabled if game is paused for example if you are looting.

Character turns where you are looking - This will make your character always turn where you look. Same as if you had a weapon wielded.

Timescale - Speed of time. If this is at 50% then time moves at half speed - slow motion.

Hotkey must be held - Normally when you press hotkey to switch profile this will be permanent. This option makes it so that you must hold down the key to have this profile, when you release the profile goes back to what it was previously.

Disable headtracking - This will disable your character from looking around on their own. For example Player Headtracking mod will turn your character's head to look at certain things, like talking people, corpses and such.

    Camera settings:

Toggle immersive view - this is the hotkey that will turn the mod view on and off. It will also force you into third person view, otherwise the camera does not work.

Toggle flipped far / near view - the mod calculates whether we should use near view mode or far view mode depending on settings such as automatic near view in interior. This hotkey will flip that calculation so if the mod calculates that we should use near view then we will instead use far view mode. It is an easy way to toggle the near distance settings.

Profile overrides - this is a setting that will automatically change profiles depending on what is going on in the game and later change back to default profile. The profiles will be checked in the order I have posted below. The first condition that is true will apply that profile. So that combat overrides running because it's higher.

Custom override - currently this only overrides animations of SexLab framework.

Killmove - this profile is activated when your character is performing a killmove.

Werewolf - this profile is activated when you are in werewolf form.

Vampire Lord - this profile is activated when you are in vampire lord form.

Dialogue - this profile is activated when you are talking to someone.

Dead - this profile is activated when you die.

Aim magic - this profile is activated when your character is casting a spell.

Aim bow - this profile is activated when your character is drawing a bow (starts to shoot) or is aiming.

On mount - this is activated when you're on a horse.

Sprinting - this is activated when you are holding the sprint key and running.

Weapon out - this is activated when you have fists, weapon or magic out and ready to attack or cast.

Sneaking - this is activated when your character is in sneak mode.

Combat - this is activated when you have an enemy (red dot on map).

Running - this is activated when you are just moving and not walking. For example holding W key.

Default profile - this is activated when there are no other profiles activated above.

Simple question: I'm trying to get IFP to work with blindfolds just like without IFP. Black screen while in first person, able to move in first person (but not 3rd), and scripts will engage when in first person (there's a few that won't fire unless you're in first person), with the only difference being that I have full range of the IFP camera while in first person. What settings do I need for that?

I'm sticking with 1.9(no Projecting) since it's the least confusing/buggy version in my opinion.
Not sure how to post this, but I guess copy and paste into notepad and save it as "FirstPersonPlugin.txt" in the SKSE Plugins folder.

Is there any way to automatically revert to vanilla camera when I dismount my horse? All I want is the immersive first person view when I'm on my horse, and while I can set it to automatically enable when I get on my horse, I can't seem to get it to go back to vanilla when I dismount. (I can manually, with the hotkey, but I'd like it to automatically do it.) Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is unbearable with low fps (<30), hard to navigate in interiors (walking is best), overly complicated mcm (no fov offset for all profiles, it has to be adjusted per profile) but other than that I like it. Adds to the immersion which is perfect for me.

The fov offset should be in general. Personally, I would set to +15.
If possible add an option to auto walk in interiors.
The MCM is a little scary and I almost uninstalled it because of it. I'm glad i didn't.
