1.05 introduced a rare but serious script lag bug that can, in its worst form, cause a crash-on-save. It is very important that you upgrade to 1.06 as soon as possible to avoid this bug.
Here is what triggers the bug: 1) You are playing with version 1.05. 2) You are playing on a saved game in which you have fought/killed Potema, the Wolf Queen. 3) You have entered an interior cell while running 1.05.
If you are playing on a save game in which all three of these things were true, you are almost certainly being affected by the bug. The best thing to do is to load a save from before you installed 1.05. If you can't, then upgrading to 1.06 may be all it takes to resolve it, provided it hasn't gotten too bad yet. If you've upgraded to 1.06, you are still experiencing script lag and you don't have an earlier save game, then try the procedures in the update notes on the mod description page.
Technical details on what causes this below -- Probably won't make sense unless you're intimately familiar with the internal workings of the game.
I installed the mod using Vortex and the MCM menu was mostly unusable. It worked perfectly otherwise, so it shouldn't be much of a problem if you do end up using Vortex. Absolutely amazing mod. 10/10
Hi Dusty I'm having the same problem as you. Installed this mod with Vortex and the MCM is basically a lot of gibberish - lol. But the mod seems to work.
I hope this isn't a dead topic... I tried PMing the mod author and Nexus wouldn't let me, for some reason... Anyway, what I would like to ask is if the mod author could please, please, PRETTY PLEASE, with cherries, and a whole sundae on top, port this mod to Skyrim SE, or at the very least, grant someone else the permission to port this, or something similar. I had this mod for Xbox 1 and it was absolutely awesome. Now I've switched to playing on computer with Skyrim SE, and I find that this mod isn't available for SE... Hopefully this gets seen by the mod author...
PS: If this DOES get seen by the mod author and you don't want to port this to SE, then would there be any similar mods for SE that you would suggest?
Wow, not just an impressively well done Seasonal addition, but a real game-changer! Far more fun than fast-travelling, and a great way to see the beauty of Skyrim from an entirely new perspective.
Oh my gosh, I love this mod! I got it just for a Christmas mod at first, but it's sooo good, it's my new "horse." It's the best flying mount I've seen! Only one problem is that the turns are very sluggish. Mind fixing that? Thanks!
