Auta i lome - the night vanishes! These words in Elven tongue I had in mind when I decided to create a texture overhaul for the Dawnguard weapons and shields, since this marks the essence of the Dawnguard how I see it. As a result of that idea I created these re-textures with the sun as the ultimate nemesis of all undead creatures as a central symbol and silverized metal as the thing they fear most.

Sadly enough these fine pieces of weapons and armory have hardly been seen on screenshots or used ingame by most people, which may be caused by the distinct lack of charm and character of the vanilla textures for these items. Therefore I've created this mod - to enhance their vanilla look, while staying true to the lore with highly detailed new and/or modified textures, to make them both believable and pleasant to look at.

These items can be obtained from members of the Dawnguard faction, either via trade or - if you side with the Vampires - through looting. Some items can be found in Fort Dawnguard to be picked up freely.

[size=+1]Skyrim 1.9+ is required for this mod to work as well as the Dawnguard DLC.[/size].


[size=+2]Installation[/size]

Download the mod file and extract the file into your skyrim directory, e.g. C:Program Files (x86)SteamSteamAppscommonskyrimData and say "yes" when being asked to integrate and override or simply use NMM. Choose only ONE version - main or performance.[/size]


[size=+2]Un-installation[/size]


[size=+1]Delete the file via NMM or manually by deleting the files contained in the mod folder within your Skyrim "Textures" folder.[/size]


[size=+2]Compatibility[/size]


[size=+1]The mod has no compatibility issues except with other mods that modify the same textures.[/size]
