Adds more Khajiit Breeds to Skyrim, these are fairly basic and should be more or less balanced against the other races.

You would like an introduction for this mod, yes? This one is a great fan of the Khajiit but was disappointed when Skyrim only had one of the many Khajiit breeds. No one else seems to realize that the mighty Khajiit come in many forms. How could Tenmujiin show the world the glory of the Khajiit? And so Tenmujiin decided to create this mod.



This mod is based on established TES lore and will add all of the humanoid breeds of Khajiit. This includes the breeds featured in other games (Ohmes from Arena, Ohmes-Raht from Daggerfall and Suthay-raht from Morrowind) as well as the Cathay-Raht and Suthay all as playable races in addition to a somewhat re-balanced version of the vanilla Khajiit, the Cathay.

Breeds with appended with -Raht are larger and more bestial/catlike and so I have increased the height of these breeds and they tend to have more combat orientated skills and higher unarmed damage. Note that increasing the height of a race in Skyrim also increases the speed at which it moves.

Cathay are the default Khajiit breed in Skyrim and the second largest breed (second only to the Cathay-Raht). The Cathay-Raht are the warrior breed and have much more combat orientated skills than the other breeds. The Cathay-Raht also has a somewhat scaled up model.

Ohmes are the most human like of the Khajiit, lacking a tail and only vestigial catlike features to their head and hair. Because of this I have used the Bosmer model scaled down for both the Ohmes and Ohmes-Raht.

Suthay are the most catlike of the humanoid Khajiit and are also the smallest, I have used the Khajiit model for both them and the Suthay-Raht with the Suthay being scaled down SIGNIFICANTLY. Beware if you chose this breed, they have higher than normal starting skills but the movement speed loss may be noticeable.

The 4th bipedal breed is called the Tojay and Tojay-Raht but there is no information on this breed other than where in Tamriel it lives.


The list of skills and bonuses for each breed:

  • Cathay: Sneak 10, Lockpicking 5, Pickpocket 5, Alchemy 5, One-handed 5, Archery 5. +12 unarmed damage (Identical to vanilla Skyrim, just redone fluff)

  • Cathay-Raht: Sneak 5, Lockpicking 5, Light Armor 5, Block 5, One-Handed 10, Archery 5, +15 unarmed damage

  • Ohmes: Sneak 10, Pickpocket 5, Lockpicking 5, Speech 10, Light Armor 5, Alchemy 5, No unarmed damage bonus

  • Ohmes-Raht: Lockpicking 10, Sneak 10, Alchemy 5, Speech 5, Pickpocket 5, +8 unarmed damage

  • Suthay: Sneak 15, Lockpicking 10, Pickpocket 10, Alchemy 5, +8 unarmed damage

  • Suthay-Raht: Sneak 10, Lockpicking 10, Pickpocket 5, Alchemy 5, Archery 5, +8 unarmed damage



I have left the base Khajiit alone (and it will still show up in your race selection, sorry) so that this mod will have close to 0 possible conflicts with others. Just in case make sure that any mod which modifies the base Khajiit overwrites this one (by putting the other mod later in the load order I believe).

**Version 0.21 will be used to fix any scaling issues if needed since the height numbers I used were just spit-balled and I'm too busy to test them today. Any further updates may or may not happen since I just wanted to get the mod into a properly usable state since apparently some people actually like it, just because I made this update doesn't mean I'm going to start actively modding, sorry.**
