FISS has been updated to v1.2

    Change list
    ~ now compatible with WindowsXP
~ spaces and line breaks will no longer be removed when loading strings
~ fixed a bug that caused load functions to sometimes return the values of a previous load
~ error messages should now work correctly if load/save failed
    ~ support for global filenames (e.g. "c:/myfile.xml" ) added

I'm not so sure global filename support is such a great idea; seems like a serious security issue, especially for users who run Skyrim as the administrator for whatever reason. I for one would not want to give some Skyrim mod the ability to read or erase any file on my system; much better to keep it quarantined to the Skryim/Data/SKSE folder.

Edit: Also, have you considered making your DLL source code available? I for one am never keen on running compiled code from an anonymous source without being able to at least glance at the source.

That you say alerts me, i am of the same opinion than you

How do you quarantine a folder? (inside or not SKSE)

    Hi!
I read the description and skimmed the first few pages of comments, but have not found an answer.
How does this work even in theory with multiple fiss mods? The FISSFactory.pex and FISSInterface.pex should be overwritten if more than one mod has them, especially if they are both provided as loose files. So I don't see how this would work even in theory with more than one mod.
    Can someone enlighten me please?

It's like a skse library a framework for all mods to use just use the most recent scripts..

      Don't question the computer wizards.

You see, they just do some magical clickitdy.
And in the end, it just works.

Hello, does anyone know if it is safe to use the mod to load presets and then remove it mid-game?

I use MO2, maybe I can keep FISS in the left pane and only disable the esp...? I really would like to keep that precious esp slot...

When i use Less Intrusive Hud there is delay with 1 or 2 seconds before my interface appears when i load my game no matter is it hard save or quick save. Is it ok or i messed something up?

there is a problem with this mod, if you use many mod with optional fiss support, without fiss, only the first loaded mod has an MCM

You mean you should install Fiss first and never remove it? does creating a new save fix that?
