THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I've always felt the blood splatters are a huge immersion-breaker, seeing as I'm not wearing any kind of glasses or visor. This is the most needed mod imo and if I could endorse it twice, I would! Thanks again!
You can use NMM even with mods that don't have an NMM button by using 'add Mod from URL' and typing nxm://Skyrim/mods/<modID>/files/<fileID> into the box that appears, in this case nxm://Skyrim/mods/471/files/1081 (the ModID is the ID that you see in the address bar of your browser, and the fileID is the ID in the link of a file on the downloads page). You have to validate that the mod's archive is in the correct format though or the files will not be saved correctly.
This is a nice option for customizing the interface. "Bloody screen removal" has just been added to Skyrim GEMS (Only mods that improve realism and gameplay are selected).

By adding it to GEMS, I hope more people will see your mod and try it out.
Wish I would've run across this back when it was made. I never found the splatter appealing as it blinded me from certain areas of the screen. Btw, it still works with version 1.5 if anyone happens to run into this as I have long after it's release.
Thank you, Grimblight. I was having that CTD and couldn't figure out for the life of me what it was. Got rid of that bit of code and just d/led the mod. Much better.
