# Version 2.1.1b #
# README #
##########################

##########################
# DESCRIPTION #
##########################

This mod adds Triss Merigold's outfit from the game "The Witcher 2" into the world of Skyrim.
For variety's sake we also made a couple of color and style variations, leaving you the possibility to choose from no less than 1024 (!) different outfits.
See the mod info on the Nexus for more information.

# INSTALLATION #
##########################

Just download the mod via NMM and when activating choose the options you'd like to install, that's it!

If, for some reason, you want to do a manual install, just extract the .7z to whereever you like. After that, copy the \data\ folder from the mod archive into your Skyrim installation. Confirm any Windows pop-ups with "Yes". Now, open the \body\ folder from the extracted archive and decide what body meshes you want to use. If you want to use the vanilla meshes, copy all files from \body\vanilla\ into the said folder. In case you want to use the CBBE meshes instead, copy the files from \body\cbbe\ and either \body\cbbe-standard\ or \body\cbbe-slim\ into \data\meshes\armor\psyold\triss\. Now choose one of the .esp files from the \esp\ folder and copy it over to Skyrim's \data\ folder. If you use a localized version, rename it to "TrissArmorRetextured.esp" for better inter-version compatibility. Finally, bring up the Skyrim Launcher, hit "Data Files" and check the .esp file you just copied. That's it!

We encourage you, however, to get the Nexus Mod Manager ( http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/content/modmanager/ ) and use it whenever possible.
You may otherwise not use the built-in armor replacer and - to be honest - the structure of the archive is optimized for the NMM and thus pretty confusing.

In order to craft your set of Triss' Outfit, you'll need the "Tailor's Yearly - 3E 177 Edition" that can be found in the "Radiant Raiment" in Solitude or the "Riverwood Trader" in Riverwood. Look for a little strong box called "Giveaways".
Those boxes also contain an "Extraordinary Ball of Wool", which is an ingredient you need for all body parts.
The ball of wool can also be crafted on tanning racks, when a "Tailor's Yearly" is in your inventory.
You may then craft your outfit at any forge in Skyrim, provided you have your book with you and own - of course - the required items.

Optional: You may want to download Calientes Female Body Mod Big Bottom Edition -CBBE- ( http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=2666 ) to use the CBBE meshes, if desired.

Update from version 2.X:
When using the NMM, just redo the installation. Just make sure to install the new version as an update to the old one, not as a regular new installation.
Manual installers replace all the old files with the new ones. Most of them have changed since 2.0b.
Unless you are having troubles regarding the compatibility with other mods (especially with vendors not selling what they should), no clean save is required. If you do have said troubles, fully deactivate and deinstall the mod, load the savegame you want to keep playing with, save the game and install the new version. All items related to this mod will disappear, but the problems should be gone.

Update from version 1.3a or older:
Do not update at all. Deactivate and deinstall the old version, make a clean save (see update instructions above) and install the new version.

# KNOWN ISSUES #
##########################

- The left and right pouch are clipping through the legs. This is intended for the moment, because that way they won't distort everything else completely when sneaking.
- In some positions you might be able to see through the outfit when wearing any of the shirtless jerkin variants. We tried (and still try) to reduce these occasions, but we can't really nullify them.
- The CBBE meshes are based on the 2.x version of Calientes work, not 3.x. We intend to change that some time later. Please understand that those changes require an awful lot of time.
- Very few people report an issue in which the textures of the outfit won't show. Instead, they only see a flat black silhouette. We still don't understand where it comes from. You may help us fix this problem by posting your system specs (CPU, GPU, RAM), graphics driver version & Skyrim version & settings in the Skyrimnexus mod comments or by sending us a PM with those information.

##########################
# COMPATIBILITY #
##########################

As of 02/02/2012, Triss Armor Retextured should not interfere or conflict with any other mod.
It might, however, conflict with any mod that changes contents of the interior cells "SolitudeRadiantRaiment" and/or "RiverwoodRiverwoodTrader".
This mod adds one object into each of those cells. As long as the basic layout of them doesn't change, there are no problems to be expected at all.
