Actually, your lore description is 100% wrong. The Akaviri were a race of Asian humanoids from Akavir who invaded Tamriel on numerous occasions and spearheaded the Blades. They, however; were eaten by the snake-people and are now extinct- unless colonies exist on scattered islands.
Well, they actually did look Asian and weren't the Tsaesci, especially considering the "half-Viri" (Half-Akaviri, Half-Redguard) Duadeen looked Asian. I just thought I'd point that out.
Au Contraire, the Akaviri were Asians. In fact the Akaviri potentate was not a beast. There was an enslaved race of men in Akavir. Orcs also represent Mongolians.

Actually the humans in Akavir is one of the biggest debates amongst elder scroll fans, are the all dead? Could there still be some alive? How do we know the Tsaesci killed them when we know almost nothing about the Tasesci or the content of Akavir? The funny thing with elder scrolls is that we know so little about what came before and where it is all going and all the knowledge of Akavir is incredible old, so a lot of it could be legend. I think you can't say having Asians in the elder scrolls series is to far fetched but just about as likely as seeing in the medieval Europe (though I think the elder scrolls series is set before the 'fall of Rome')
Well I love the lore of TES and I agree there are 'no asian looking races' though it would be interesting to see some kind of enclave or colony that were asian-like that lived within a last bastion in Akaviri unknown to the other beast races or even deep within Tang-Mo territory.. (that would make the most sense right? being the kind race they are) - that would then answer the lore question of men (or perhaps a type of asian styled mer?) having lived there as described, would explain the east asian look on the weaponry and architecture. Also it would add another race into/back into the game (and IRL asian people make up 60% of the worlds population...) I can't help feel unrepresented, XD or unable to make myself. LOL.
I agree, an Akaviri human race *could* be lore-friendly. But if you get the RaceMenu mod, you actually can tweak your character enough to make them look like pretty much anyone, including yourself, by making changes to very small details such as mouth corner height, iris size, nose slope, etc. Even with vanilla Skyrim, I was able to make a Nord who looked very Japanese. There's the mod Akaviri Japanese Race also, but that requires a mod that isn't even on the nexus anymore, and one that I never wanted to install anyway. It would be nice to just see a simple custom human race from Akavir with unique racial abilities and skill levels.
Judging by the only screenshot it looks like a pretty good job. The eyes are too big though, but this might be as close as you can get. Thanks for taking the time to upload this
Unfortunatelly there's no way to resize eyes yet. Maybe someday it will be added to RaceMenu. For now nothing much I can do about it without a replacer.

I am currently thinking about using CharGen Extension to further improve the looks of my asian girl, but it's a secondary objective for me, since I have more important mods to work on.
