So i'm not able to confirm this now as I had to uninstall and reinstall Skyrim to fix another problem I had (as well as delete my save files) but I think this mod causes the Savior's Hide to be not upgradeable. Before I uninstalled Skyrim and deleted everything this was the only mod that could possibly be causing that to happen. I'm by no means a "techie" so I wouldn't be able to go into the creation kit or whatever you might to do confirm this but it's just a heads up. I've never used the Savior's Hide but if I do I would definitely want to be able to upgrade it. It makes you immune to disease as a Redguard iirc and it can help you stack magic resist reasonably fast with other magic resist gear or natural magic resist you gain from doing certain questlines.
it's very simple yet efficient! Buuttt As you know, it lacks.. uhh, some aestethical element...
Well uhh, you know, it's skyrim.. so... Even tho it's a linear perks, maybe you can make it a bit curvy to match the smithing constellation Or something something else... idk... maybe like, your enchanting perk mod... (not a modder, so cant give any creative ideas, sorry...)
Awesome. My only gripe is that it looks a little unaesthetic relating to constellation form, I've gone through lots of other mods like this and they've always incorporated the constellation a bit differently, while this one is just...a straight line. If you can fix, great, if not, still great mod. Not sure what Bethesda was thinking.
If I'm being honest, it was an accident. I regret it. I had the Dawnguard master loaded when I started creating the mod. Didn't even realize my mistake until I had already finished. Just haven't been bothered to go back and fix it because it would require re-doing it from the ground up. I apologize for the inconvenience.
This seems like a useful, helpful mod. But I also see it a bit cheaty/too easy. As in, less perks that have to be unlocked. 3 less points that can be used to improve other skills.
Still, I will use this. And the fact it works flawlessly, you got my endorsement.
Thanks chap. Yeah, the whole point of this mod is to save those perks, lol. If I'm focusing on, for instance, Heavy Armor, I won't *need* the light branch of the Smithing tree. However, if I wanted to craft some, say, glass weapons, I wouldn't be willing to put out the extra perks required to do so when I can already create powerful weapons from the heavy side that are just as good if not better. This is simply to add more variety without costing too much.
i've always hated that going light armor is worthless though, the weapons are stronger in heavy and you can get end game light armor of you go heavy armor, i feel like since light armor people can't take as many hits THEIR weapons should do more. This will be very nice i've been looking for this
Please change it to where arcane blacksmith in not the first perk in the tree. That means I have to be lvl 60 to start the tree. Please change this and put it on the side connecting to a perk like journyman. If you can do that i will download and endorse. Thanks if you consider.
You don't need to have your Smithing at level 60 to start the tree. You can select Novice Smithing from the start of the game onward and advance from there.

I'm still leaving mod up but I would highly advise using EPO instead. Thank you.
What if I already have dwarven and elven smithing?
Will the two perks merge become one, then I lose one perk point?
This mod is deprecated, you can get a better version of this in my other mod, Efficient Perk Overhaul.
