    New version available:
New mode added: you can now select a nif file as imput instead of an xml file. If you do so:

    • You'll get every single node in this nif file + Position Z

    • Prevent children scaling will be disabled

    • Symmetry will be disabled

    • Racemenu will take like 15-20 seconds to load all sliders (because you know, one single nif skeleton has 400-500 records tagged as NiNodes)

This feature is designed for advanced users since I'm not going to fully describe every single record and most of them are probably unused

    Why? because I can - K

How exactly can you select a nif file as input?

Put it in the same folder as the other xml file, run the generator, select the nif

as regards the nif input beta, I want to chime in as well that the filesize is identical to the old version and racemenuskeletonsliders.exe certainly does not seem to be reading any .nifs I place in its directory. Is this an accidental upload of the old version?

Thank you. Unfortunately, it acts quite strange - seems not to add any unique ninodes from the .nif I feed it, and moreover creates a .pcs file of variable size each time it's run, even with the same input! Then, when running in game, I can only ever access a small handful of sliders from the mod (mostly leg, feet, and LL genitals, majority of which don't correlate to the XP32 skeleton anyway). To top it off, there is a bug where in the game RaceMenu keeps adding these same sliders to the list, over and ever, ad infinitum, every 10-15 seconds or so.

Yeah, there are still some issues with this. Here is what I remember:
1./ RaceMenu only load 150 or 200 nodes (I do not remenber exactly) even if the file contains 600 of them, so you only see the beginning
2./ The order of sliders is the same as the order in the nif, so it's a bit random
3./ The random size is caused by the fact that variables are randomly named, so the size of the output file may change at each compilation (even if it contains exactly the same things)
4./ infinite loading: I don't know the source of this problem, maybe the fact that there are too much sliders (so RaceMenu fail to load them) and try again, even if there are some already loaded

My proportions invert when I load a save or go through a loading screen. If I make my head smaller, it becomes bigger, if I make my arms shorter, they become longer, etc. What am I doing wrong?

I can't get this mod to work.

    I am using Mod Organizer.

I downloaded Fores New Idles and ran it. I downloaded the required mods. I ran the executable through Mod Organizer with the Argument (even using both \ and /).

I can't get it to work. I type in "showracemenu" onto the console and the Body Scales are just the stuff with Head, Height, etc. Nothing like upper spine length.

    Merci

I can't for the life of me figure out how to get all of the Animated Dragon Wings sliders in bold in the description working. Slider Compiler says they need to be modified, but then when applied it says they're already fixed and that the step is ignored. Despite that they still don't show up in game.
What do I need to do?

Can this amazing mod being used on SE version of Skyrim? And if not, can you please port this mod for the SE version? It looks too good to not be included with the new batch of modes.

I was using .171 and couldn't get it to work with racemenu or my XPMS skeleton, so I disabled all my mods and got it to work at Racemenu. Then I saw .172 was released and I updated it. Now I can't get it to work at all. I removed the entire mod in Mod Manager and reinstalled a fresh .172. Still couldn't get it to work. I am stumped beyond reinstalling Skyrim which I don't want to do.

Is there any way I can get .172 to work with Racemenu again, XPMS Skeleton and HDT 14.28?

    Cheers.

    I need help.
the RaceMenuSkeletonSliders.exe app will stopped working and i have no choise except to close it everytime i open it.
only this message appear in the program:
Unhadled Exception: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'nifstuff.dll' or one of its dependencies. The specified module could not be found.
    at RaceMenuSkeletonSliders.Program.Main(String[] args)

i've tried clean install racemenu. and tried both beta version and old version of this mod with no luck.
checked all requirement, i think i have them all (including microsoft visual c++ specified in the main page). i even installed animated wings thinking it was the problem, but no, no change.
