I haven't played Skyrim since 2012. I upgraded to the new Skyrim, and this mod still works. Some graphics glitches, but everything seems to work so far. I love this place!
i used ur coc aasluckotbasement... and then i have to jump to get next room in this half-finished basement? Oo... anyway i off this mod for a while until you finish the whole mod.. then i redownload ur mod
I cant recommand this Home. First it looks cool, but already at the entrance you will have a "hmm, okay? Bug, or should it be like that?"-moment. Then you enter and you will see some random placed storage in a large floor. There is nothing but the crates, some fireplaces and a snow-sabrecat. If u go in the other Rooms you will see: it is MUCH to dark. Even with spells for magelight etc. If u can see something it will be not that lovely designed as u aspected. Morphed world-map for teleportation. way to many random-placed chests. a full-empty throne-room. (srsly, its a player house and u have enough thrones for whole tamriel!?!) Many textures are not very well placed. Many things in this house have no higher sense. I found some beds, but none of them was a "player-bed". The only thing that amazed me, was the tower on its upper outside. The idea to use a dragonskull as a staircase was great.
It seems like a great mod at first, but looking around, you'll realize that it's unfinished and full of holes still. It's definitely a great concept but incomplete. The most annoying thing for me (the dealbreaker) was that the compass objectives suddenly automatically point towards the fast travel stations in each major city that connect you to overlook tower... which is not only inefficient but very, VERY intrusive to gameplay. If someone took this over and finished it, it could be good - and I recommend not changing the compass objectives. Sorry, but I can't recommend this mod in its current state to anyone.
They would have to go out of their way to avoid the objective system doing that, in the base game, the quickest route to a location will be chosen to have the markers on it, since these teleports aren't actually fast travel but doors, they take you there instantly.
Because it came out before the CK was available, the invention of bread looks pathetic now compared to being able to hold access to the knowledge of the world in your hand, much is the same for a mod that, at the time, was a brilliant achievement. When stood next to the more recent homes where you can build them up from nothing and have them customized to your every need, of course it looks overrated.
