Thanks this is the best magic light mod on nexus. The vanilla light blinds eyes and doesn't illuminate anything past my characters nose. I used the compatibility patch by Sharlikan, but you are the original author so im saying thanks here.
Downloaded this mod and now I have a permanent candlelight. Normally not an issue but my char is a Vampire so the light is, actually, pretty detrimental. Can't even disable the light with console.
I assume that I'm not the only one that uses Magelight and the faster moving Reanimation spells to control where people are looking (for stealth purposes, obviously), and have silent casting to make this possible. I would suggest adding at least the option of making the caster more illuminated by these spells, or even illuminating the caster separately, if the caster is the player, after casting one of these spells to help balance it. Maybe make magelight also give you a slight chance to give you away if you're invisible?

I followed your advice and downloaded the Sharlikan's version. Works great. The smaller sized white light seems to be the best one for me. Thank you for putting together the original mod that inspired the updated version.
