I wouldn't put too much thought on an author who took away Spriggan sounds in his spriggan companion mod because of a weak excuse. He said because he's never heard a tree make that sound in his entire life. Well, they're not trees...they're Spriggans...hence why they're different words...with different characteristics...and different histories. Plus, this is the first follower mod I installed where the scripting was so lazy that you have to read how to use the follower? Every other follower mod I had was a simple "talk" option, but when your "talk" option is even bugged, you may want to fix that.
So I've had this downloaded for awhile but I have a question, HOW DO YOU DISSMISS HER? like, I've had to tell her to wait somewhere and leave her then go back to the shrine to get her again, it's kinda annoying...
Hello, I have a question regarding Vilya. I wanted to edit some things about her (spells, finding location etc) but whenever I open the Creation Kit with her ticked on, the CK crashes. This only happens with her ticked on. Do you have any idea why and how I can fix this? Thanks in advance.

I had to uninstall everything to stop skyrim crashing through any and every door, and it ruined all my settings for the Race Menu v3 Mod. I mean no offense, but do really wonder: What on earth does this mod do within Skyrim to change so much? I thought it would run a few lines of code to place a spriggan inside the building, and modify the name and factions to make it a "named pet".
I'll see if I can find the problem, but perhaps you could look into it. I'm assuming you've got Race Menu V3, so perhaps it's something else I've got that is causing problems.
Ah. I think it's SkyUI that is conflicting with it. Both Race Menu V3, and a few other mods (such as A Matter Of Time) that were ruined all rely on it.
I absolutely love Spriggans, and this mod is the only one I've found where the Spriggan is both functional AND useful. Vilya is definitely my favourite non-humanoid follower. I especially appreciate the fact she doesn't use a human voice like some others do (weird!).
One teeny question though, is there any chance of a Burnt Spriggan version? I tried turning her in to one in the CK but my understanding of skins isn't that great. Regardless, she's still super awesome!
I was wondering, could u make a version of the latest version but without leaves noise ? i had a spriggan companion before and the noise was horrible. but i want to keep up also with the new improvement u do the follower. Pretty please with a cherry on top >o< only if u can of course c:
Vilya is more useful, than some of those "funny" followers with over 9000 lines of dialogue. She is silent and mysterious and that makes her very comfortable to adventure with. Imho she needs an unique appearance like a spriggan matron model, but not so huge. And maybe some more nature themed spells.
Also I like your "echo" idea. I have a suggestion: Vilya could sound like Avatar of Vengeance in "Warcraft III: Frozen Throne" or something like that: "http://dota2.gamepedia.com/Spectre_responses". <--- Check "Laughter" response. You just need to take a female voice sample, then add some echo sound filters, then record it backwards.
P.s. Sometimes I'm asking myself, what kind of gift she could appretiate? I mean, you can't give her a flower - it would be like a giving somebody a cutted finger or something...
