Well, not all of us are english native speakers... Notorious, in spanish is literally "notorio", wich means clear, evident, easy to see... But in the end this is about mods for an excelent game, not about languajes. -1 reputation because of this... ? "Al buen entendedor, pocas palabras"= "To the wise, a few words".

I think what draconisnox is asking is how increased alpha makes the snowflakes look more "notorious" Look up a definition for the word notorious, i think you might have it mixed up.
The alpha channel is part of the .dds file, and defines transparency. In plain words, in the main file, the snowflakes are pretty transparents, not in the optionals.
