    Excellent mod, endorsed!

    I always hated killing spriggans, and this mod is helping me roleplay as a compassionate Druid!

    This is absolutely an essential for Lore-Lubbers like myself (I try to stretch it when it involves Zelda, though).

    Though I don't think the fix is the most efficient, I've yet to see another mod that tries to get the same result. Note that I don't use Kyne's Peace too often, but if it were up to me, I'd try to edit the shout to prevent hostility from creatures of nature only towards the player for a set amount of time.

    Do you know whether there are any such creatures that don't have the ActorType conditions set forth by Kyne's Peace? Were Spriggans labeled with the required ActorType? I'm gonna check out these questions with the CK. I'm curious about making this mod flawless (provided it proves to have flaws).

    EDIT: Okay, it seems that Spriggans aren't inherently associated with the KynesPeaceFaction, so if you were to apply that faction onto the Spriggan Actor so that it is affected by the shout, then all the Spriggans used, as well as the factions and actors allied to the Spriggans will be affected if they are within the original conditions of the Kyne's Peace Shout.

      it is also, lore breaking, after they are the concentretaed essnce of kyne, meaning they are immune, and they arent animal's, thy are "golem's" or elemntal's of nature, while the shout's description clearly says *animal's* and not monster's or animals + monster's.

      From what I gathered in my testing, KynesPeaceFaction isn't inherently what makes them nonhostile. Simply adding Spriggans to the faction actually has no effect, so in this version I left the faction unchanged. What I did was edit the conditions of the 6 other magic effects that Kyne's Peace Utilizes. Basically the main condition it works on is HasKeyword:Animal=1, which covers both the predator and prety factions. What I did was change that condition from AND to OR, then added another OR condition of GetInFaction:SprigganFaction=1. In vanilla however, the shout only works on creatures up to level 20, so now it will work on creatures up to level 100, namely spriggan matrons, earth mothers, and mammoths (added bonus). I did this by changing the magnitude of the relevant magic effect in the 3 Kyne's Peace voicepowers.

      Basically if you want to take a look at the .esp again, just go to the magiceffect and voicepower sections and type Kyne in the searchbar, you'll see everything I made changes to.

      KAAN DREM OV means KYNE PEACE TRUST. It's basically a code phrase that manifests your allegiance with Kyne, the goddess who bestowed the Voice unto mortals in the first place, to the world around you. From a lore perspective, spriggans would recognize and respond to it. It's the same idea as the Boots of the Crusader in Oblivion; a marker that essentially signifies you as a friend of the patron deity of these creatures, making them non-hostile towards you.

      For instance, it wouldn't make sense to add this property to the Animal Allegiance shout, which should only specifically affect animals. But since the shout is specifically invoking Kyne by name, it makes sense that spriggans would be included under its influence.

      Heh, I really just took a look at the vanilla Shout's properties, and the conditions DID include that they were in the Creature faction and not in the Undead faction. I also saw that every animal I checked were either in the Predator or Prey faction. When I looked up the associated factions for those Factions, they always had that KynesPeaceFaction as an ally or friend. I noticed this with every animal and creature, such as trolls, horkers, and even Frostbite Spiders, so I thought there had to be a KynesPeaceFaction within the Spriggan Actor factions dialogue box so that it may trigger when the shout is cast, albeit only if they are level 20 or below.

      Of course, Spriggans DID fulfill the conditions for the KynesPeaceFaction anyway, by being of the CreatureFaction and not of the UndeadFaction, so I suppose my solution would have been a waste.

      Yeah, my theory is that the KynesPeaceFaction is used to temporarily keep the predator and prey factions from fighting each other, and has nothing to do with their interaction with the player. Like you said, since spriggans are already nonhostile to both of those factions, adding them to it wouldn't make a difference. What actually adds the calming component is "VoiceKynesPeaceEffect," so it needs to be told to apply to spriggans in addition to animals without messing up the parameters that make it exclude undead. It's nice that the spriggan faction exists as the ones from the DLCs were retroactively added to it as well, meaning this mod can naturally apply to them while still being usable for people that don't have Dawnguard or Dragonborn and there's no need for multiple versions or compatibility patches.

      Spriggans are plant elementals, they are not animals at all.
