Yikes, so many ancient unanswered questions... As some of you have hopefully realized, this is NOT the place to post problems with/questions about Inigo (despite the misleading thread title, which was not my or SBC's idea). Questions should be posted in the main Comments, under the 'Posts' tab on the Nexus Inigo page. SBC doesn't usually do the tech support, and while I do, I don't get notified about posts back here, and I don't see them, nor do the others that answer questions/do support for Inigo.
So unless you have a fairly specific ancient problem with Inigo not singing his improvised songs and are looking to read very old posts about it... shoo, this is not where you want to be.
so I've installed inigo (no other mods, just him) hes in the jail cell but the texture for his neck and head is broken and although the subtitles work, there is no audio when he speaks
i don't know why this is happening, if someone could give me a reason and a fix that would be great :)
Yikes, you really need to ask questions in the main comments, no one will see them back here. You don't have the Inigo.bsa installed with the Inigo.esp, either that, or the bsa was corrupted in the download. You need both of the files in your Data folder (or mod manager). If they are there, try re-downloading the mod, and reinstalling.
Ive been using this mod for about 3 years and had no problems with it. It’s 2019 now and Inigo has been acting different than usual. The main problem is that when I’m sneaking around enemies Inigo decides to stand up and start fighting them. I have a high sneak skill so it’s not me, and I did tell Inigo to “only fight when nessisary” but he still doesn’t do it.
Even if I start a new game with a new character he still does this. Does anyone know how to fix this?
I just started using the mod but I had to set his aggression to be lower so he wouldn't do that. Stand 10 meters away from him and whistle WITHOUT your weapon drawn and it should lower his aggro on others.
Im having this problem as well, actually. I came on here to dig about Inigo's stealth because I def remember him working fine last time I played skyrim long ago. Im guessing its a mod conflict since I dont believe the mod's updated?? Im using Revenge of the Enemies and Deadly Combat, and I've also been traveling with Meeko (haven't tested it yet, but had a thought that since dogs don't really sneak he's, like, soaking some of that ai? Doubt that's the case tho.) I've noticed him using DC's combat reactions like briefly rolling away when hit. All his other combat preferences seem to work fine.
E- Dog and deadly combat dont change anything, it seems? At least disabling them didn't. I have other ai tweaking mods, but no follower mods and none that I can think that would effect inigo's agression.
If I take Inigo into Broken Ore Grotto, he never leaves. Nothing I do can get him to exit the place and he is infinitely stuck there. If I tell him to leave my service, he just goes invisible but his hitbox and dialog are still in the grotto. I can't push him out, If I action him to walk into the exit he never teleports out.
Bringing Inigo into Broken Ore Grotto completely breaks this mod, as he won't ever be able to follow you again after that. Is there a way around this?
Edit: TO FIX INIGO GETTING STUCK INSIDE LOCATIONS:
There is only one way to do it I found, and that's through the console. 1. open the console by clicking ` key on your keyboard, (Above Tab) 2. Click on Inigo 3. Type "Prid <ID>" and put the ID that shows up there, do not include the <> 4. Move out of the room he's in and type "moveto player" and he should jump to you.
Hopefully this mod is still being watched by someone; I've completed the "L's cabin" part of the quest and then Inigo mentioned that he wanted to speak to me about L somewhere safe. I've been stopping in Inn's, camping, and going to my houses, but Inigo won't say anything besides his normal resting dialogue options. Am I doing something wrong?
Got the same problem. No matter where I go, what I do or talk about with Inigo, he simply doesn't have anything new to say. It is quite frustrating. Even went back to L's to see if it would help, but nothing so far.
EDIT: So I went to the F&Q forum and found out you have to SIT DOWN with Inigo in an inn to have the next conversation. Haven't tried it yet, will post if it works or not once I do.
EDIT2: Yup, you have to sit down with him. Problem solved.
How do I free Inigo from the Riften Jail? I can't even get past the first part without something not working for me. It was in the description that I did not have to pick a lock, but there is a lock on it, and if I treid to pick it I get caught. So how do I free him?
There is a key inside of a broken lockbox if I remember correctly. It's in the guard's room on top of the fireplace. Here's SmartBlueCat's video

Inigo is not compatible with the Immersive College of Winterhold. I took him into the hall of the elements, and he gets stuck in a arm waving animation, and won't continue to follow me. I haven't found a way around this currently, besides reloading a previous save and not taking him to the COW. I believe this is due to the mod changing the behavior of the NPC's at the college, so it probably broke Inigo's brain. Nevertheless, both mods are wonderful, so I have no intention of getting rid of either! I guess Inigo will rest assured that he will not wake up being turned into something unusual. Inigo is by far my favorite follower mod out there! :)
Could anyone maybe help me? I'm playing Skyrim on a Mac (not through bootcamp however) and usually, I put all the mods I have in a specific folder and they'll appear in the game. With the Inigo Mod however, no matter which version, he just doesn't appear in the Riften Jail. I have checked, there is also no note on the table or anything. For some reason, it doesn't seem to recognise the mod? I can't use NMM bc it isn't available for OS X so yea.. maybe someone can help?
I've downloaded Inigo and installed the mod. It shows up in my plugin list and I've activated it. When I go to Riften Jail, I find the note and hear him talk, but he's not there and the cell is locked. What's causing this?
