I'll agree that an Skyrim Special Edition "native" port of the mod would be nice, but as far as I can tell, the mod works as-is in SSE.
Edit: not perfectly, I discovered. It has some issues with ankle and wrist seams (a sticky post on the CBBE for SSE page mentions that), but the ankles are less obvious, and I can work around the wrist seam issue by having my character (and follower) wear gauntlets in addition to the swimsuit - I'd been planning on that anyway - the swimsuit counts as light armor, so I add heavy gauntlets and get some experience in both skills while adventuring.
Update: I sent a message to the author about a week after that comment (so over 8 months ago now), but apparently she hasn't even read it. However, I found a different workaround: I can still use the Oldrim version of CBBE in Skyrim SE (since I'm not using other mods that rely on the SSE port of CBBE), and the ankle/wrist seams are gone.

Thanks for the mod. Great job.

Hope you like it :)
I'd also like to see a thong back version of the suits if possible. Something like these: http://www.jpnswimming.net/product/1162
