Sad that you dont add more cards since its a great thing and adds a little more fun to exploring skyrim. WIsh you didnt have to steel many of the cards though. I also think the shop is completley pointless since its supposed to be a trading card game so you should have to find and trade to complete the collection. ALso the cards displayimmage in inventory are not right since its shows the card laying down from the side not the front.
there was a similiar mod like this for oblivion. hidden game cards all through out the world. you could even display the cards in special display desks that you could put buy and put anywhere. it was an amazing mod. I am the kind of guy that would donate to such an endeavor for this game. I wish you didn't give up on this mod
It makes me really sad that, more often than not, Skyrim modders get struck with terminal ADD halfway through and never end up finishing. This one in particular I would have positively loved to have seen expanded. It's very reminiscent of the Action For Men mod for New Vegas, which I enjoyed immensely. I'll still give it a try, but I'm truly disappointed it'll never live up to its potential.
ha! finally i found one. I really needed this, thank you and please continue, may i suggest monster category or undead or DRAGONS like extremely rare master cards???? uhhh so cool!!!
I have a few suggestions: Ideas for Cardpacks: Spells Thu'ums Daedra Aedra Jarls (Present and from Lore, but not ones made after the story begins) Oblivion gates Landmarks (from all TES Games) (So Red Mountain to High Hrothgar)
For Existing ideas: for the Quest Line cards, leave them general, making them specific kills the "Lore Friendliness" For instance Instead of "Astrid" use " Dark Brotherhood Leader" because no one knows Who Astrid is, so why would they make a card about her? For the enemy cards, make them drop off Hunters + The Creature they come from. (but dragons exclusively from Dragons or Draugr Bosses)
For the Card Design: For the back of the Card, why not put the Imperial Logo on it, with a Black and Grey Backdrop.
Remove your name from the front, Put it in the bottom right corner of the card in Small Font, (Like most TCGs) It will make the card look prettier. And Maybe Call it an Imperial Trading Card on the back.
While yes they are very LookFreek Suggestions, I could care less about lore, however, you'll get more people if you follow the lorefreekery.
And Ideas from the mechanic:
Give cards an unused Equip Slot, and give them small magical bonuses. For instance, a Fireball Card might increase Fire Destruction Magic Damage by 2%, or a Giant Card might increase Physical Strength with 2 handed. etc.
That will give incentive to collect the cards, and Not immediately sell them. (advice, don't ever touch Enchanting EVER, likely that card will simply break enchanting xD)
Thanks man! A lot of really great ideas! The equip slot I didn't even think about, thats a great thought! I will experiment with it And I was also thinking about doing the Imperial akaviri logo. I will play with the design over the next week while gathering more screenshots for the next pack. Its nice seeing people interested in the concept! Thinking about it, it would be cool to have some equip-able while others are just common cards. The equip-able ones would be significantly more rare too. Feel free to shoot me any other ideas!
