Any chance of making the lovely Laia totally standalone? I'd appreciate it very much. Plus, you'd be expanding your audience with a standalone version. Thanks.
I can do it but it depends on if the authors of the Ningheim race allows me to use their assets. When I first asked them they didn't allow me. Now that there are many standalone mods may be they would allow me. I'll ask them again to see what happens.
Hi i just installed this and all requirements and what not and i started up skyrim found laia just to find that she is invisible D: any ideas on how to fix this
Is she totally invisible or only parts ? Is your load order correct ? I mean, that she loads after the Ningheim Race ? Also check the requirements of The Ningheim Race, especially the RaceCompatibility for Skyrim and Dawnguard. Try to put her last in the load list and see what happens. She is a standard game follower that uses the assets of the Ningheim Race so the only problem maybe another mod is messing with the race mod. Let me know how it's going that I'llcheck back.

My PC is CBBE, but the Ningheim are UNP BBP in my setup. So, I tried the BBP meshes for the Royal Vampire Armor/Clothes from Lore Friendly and SemiSkimpy Armors - UNPB-BBP. This results in enormous breasts, so I did setnpcweight 40, and added the armor with help "vampire armor". This works, except that setnpcweight 40 gives Laia's head a reddish color (which differs from the body color).
question can you make a lunari or succubus race version of her? because the ningheim race installer, also installs sundracon males and I don't want those.
I'll take a look for those. Lunari may be complicated to do it vampire as it does not have a vampire type but I can "fake" it adding her the vampiric drain spell and red eyes.
I was mistaken, sorry, Lunari has a vampire type and I have already a lunari follower but it is not finished yet. I left it out temporarily due to some problems with the makeup. So I'm on it again.
I installed Underworld Dawnguard eyes (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/22619/) and realized that this did not change Laia's eye as well. Is there a way they can be changed? Or to the best of your knowledge should this have changed them? (does she used the default vampire eyes or custom eyes?).
As a custom race, Ningheim has all its assets in its own folder so a mod that changes vanilla assets should not affect it. Still you can manually modify the textures. Look in the data\textures\actors\characters\eyes folder of your downloaded mod for the files eyevampire*.dds. Choose one and rename it to eye_typeU_Vampire.dds and replace the file in data\textures\actors\character\Ningheim\eyes. The system will ask you to confirm overwrite and answer yes, but before make a bakup of the original file. Do not change the meshes, only the texture will do. Experiment with the different textures to find the one that suits you.
