First I want to say that I appreciate the incredible work that has gone into this resource pack. I'm currently making a mod that changes out quite a few vanilla trees with different models from this pack along with others. That way when you go from town to town, it doesn't seem that there are only like 4 different trees in skyrim :)
While loading some of them into the CK, i'm getting missing textures. When i load nifskope its looking for some bark at this location:
    textures\landscape\trees\tld\bark01.dds
Yet the tld folder doesn't exist, and i cannot find it in other resource packs. Any suggestions on where to locate these files?

I'll make a package with the missing textures, sorry for the inconvenience.

Hey Elinen, did you ever release the missing texture package? I'm having the same problem as the OP. Thanks.

I'm just leaving this bit of information here for anyone else who might encounter it. When cleaning a particular tree in this resource with SSE NIF Optimizer, the tree animations got disabled and CK would throw up an error saying that animations was disabled because it was missing vertex colors. To fix this just open up the tree mesh and on the mesh block for the leaves of the tree scroll down within the block details and add "Colors" to the Vertex description by right clicking that spot and clicking the Vertex flags. After adding colors to the vertex description, head to the BSLightingShaderProperty and within its block details and under the Shader Flags 2 select the Vertex_Colors option. And with that the trees will animate properly! ^^

CK crushes when I try to generate tree LODs. DynDoLod cannot find proper files for lods. The trees itself looks very good but I have no idea how to generate lods for them.

You probably figured this out by now, but DynDoLod needs tree billboards of the trees first in order to create LODs. Follow the tips in this video on how to create your own.

Thanks so much for the resources. I've used one of your snowy oaktrees in my mod, Winterhold Restored.

I'm getting floating tree LOD's like they are stacked up on each other? I used this mod to place a few trees in a new world space i made (not finished or LOD generated yet too) But in Tamriel I see this issue? It must have something to do with this mod, as it was fine before. Any help please?

I have deleted all the LOD files in the meshes and texture folders, the floating trees are still there

The file that is most likly messing up the tree lods for you is in Textures\terrain\Tamriel\trees and called tamrieltreelod.dds. Try removing that one or replacing it with the original file that you can find in the Skyrim - Textures.bsa.

The reason you hade the problem is that fact that you had not generated tree lods with the new file from this mod. Needs to be done both for any new worldspaces and for tamriel.

    I used it here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/81544
Almost all the trees of this new world came from your resource. Thank you for sharing this

First of all, this is simply a wonderful resource! Thank you so much. It's great to have a variety of trees beyond the few offered in vanilla Skyrim.

EDIT: Problem solved. Once again, lovely resource. You've dramatically expanded the creative possibilities of Skyrim with your resources. Thanks again.

Just wanted to be safe and ask, but is it okay if I use this for some Oblivion trees?

      This is a bit tricky.
      * All textures that starts with E are made by me, and you can use them as you please, with a few exception, I can PM you a list tomorrow, or send you the textures you can use in a separate zip file so there are no mistakes.
      * The models under Data/Meshes/ztree's are all made by Ztree and can be used.
      * But other models are re-textures of either original skyrim models or models from other mods by GKB, Vurt or Sparrowprins. It is not allowed to port The Skyrim models to other games, and you will have to ask the other mod authors mentioned for permission to use there models.

Thanks for the reply! I'm only talking about textures for Oblivion's speedtrees and possibly some grass, I knew some of them were GKBs, wasn't sure who else was working on this. Also thanks for names, wasn't entirely sure who I needed to contact since this is a group effort. I'll send some PMs then. Thanks again.

Also, if it's easier before I release anything how about I just PM you about the specific texture(s)? Seems easier than typing up a whole list of textures.
