My official tech support is stopped, all bugs on user's side or own game bugs, there is no sence to continue if basic rules are broken by players. Won't listen what i say, then simply don't use ENBoost, all those game boosters are fine for you, right? Do not post about crashes (CTD), infinite loading screens or freezes, everything can be found in description and if you have such issues then improperly configured by you (ENBoost and skyrim.ini, skyrimprefs.ini), other software affect game/patch or simply the bug is one of game own bugs. I did many tests and in all cases of freezes or crashes it's not my patch, but game bugs (deadlocks f.e.). I will not reply to users who ignore this warning
if it works without the used d3d9.dll it seems your use enb or rehade. reset them to default and deactivate all filters. reconfigure the filter - this often solves this problem.
a big thanks for the unique enboost function of expanding memory usage in favor of stopping ctd reaching 32bit 4GB memory limits. this works great and is essential for stable, ctd free gameplay!
one unavoidable disadvantage after many tests on a high end win 10 rig: enboost with and without graphics can introduce severe frame rate drops and additional stutter (very short but recognizable and reproducable, for example all kind of fast perspective changes). memory function works nice but stutter can be severe with active enboost/enbhost.exe! i tested what can be tested (skyrim le, fo3 and fnv). i was unable to get rid of this enb related stutter even with a clean, unmodded game. i guess one of the main reasons is if the memory allocation has to switch from fast vram to much slower system memory or in worst case to microsoft os virtual memory offered by a hdd or ssd. i tried also many cpu affinity and priority settings (8/16 core cpu) with very limited success. this stutter also appears trying enboost settings on fo4 and sse (even if not needed for 64 bit). can anyone confirm this or am i alone with this problem ? any help and feedback appreciated! i'm pretty sure it is somehow a limitation of 32bit and the old game engine and is also related to the available vram (and its speed and size) and demanding game settings. to reduce this kind of stutter (or even to eliminate it) you must switch from skyrim le to 64bit SSE and not use enboost. you should own sufficient amount of vram (>= 8GB) and system memory (>= 16 GB, ideal 32 GB ram) if you like demanding settings.
Wow, maybe this why I've always had that stutter no matter how bad, good or medium pc's I've had, I've always used enBoost. But it DOES runs the game smoother, we can all notice that so... I don't know. Is still belive it's kinda mandatory for me.
Though in a ryzen3 I even dared to use enb series with graphics just like that, it worked allright.
enb memory management is essential and i recognized another relation. If you get memory allocation error it is in many cases tied to your (too low) enblocal.ini memory setting. you need at least to assign 10240 MB of memory to avoid this allocation error. there is no way around and it has nothing to do with the heap. the only option is to use a non demanding low end but ugly vanilla setup, not reaching the 3GB 32 bit memory limit ( or the too low mem setting in enblocal.ini). enboost/enbhost.exe needs a high 10240MB memory setting to be able to allocate extra memory without error messages and ctd. I tested that always with the same result. Values below 8192MB will raise this error in a complex exterior in case of a setup with ultra game settings even with 1080p res because the needed amount of memory for enb(enboost) to allocate is simply not sufficient.
thanks for the heads up bro, i got like a gorillion ram and vram and thought messing with the inis and fixes for hours would eventually fix the stutters, looks like it's an inherent problem with the 32-bitness of this game (sucks cos there's a mod here I really like)
true, this cell change stutter ist defintely tied to the 32bit engine limitation. i do not get this kind of stutter with fo4 and sse even with ugridstoload=7. enb can solve the ctd problem but not the mem stutter bottleneck.all older fo versions, le and oblivion suffer from it using higher resolutions (1080p and greater) until they get the 64bit game engine upgrade (which not exist - except for skyrim).
Do not download this unless you want some sort of "shadow sticking" (for lack of a better term) glitch that I can't really describe with words but rest assured it makes the game not worth playing and is LITERALLY PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIX WHETHER YOU HAVE THE GRAPHICS PART OR JUST THE BOOST. BELIEVE ME, I TRIED EVERYTHING. So maybe the enb does solve the constant memory bullshit, but if so, it fubars the graphics in the process. EPIC FAIL.

i lost around 5 fps with this installed, i did the comparison
Is this mod compatible with MO?
