UPDATE Version 1.1 uploaded. This version adds extra activators to the Skyrim world space for compatibility with 'Open Cities Skyrim' It does not use OCS as a master, so it is safe to use, even if you don't have OCS installed.
**The original OCS version (found under the 'Old Versions' section in the files tab) was accidently uploaded without the script. If you are using that version, please download the 1.1 version manually and move the wellwater.pex file over to your script folder.
Hey, I don't know if you're still even reading the comments anymore, but is there a base version of the Dragonborn file that doesn't rely on Realistic Needs and Diseases?
A lot of people ask if this is compatible with iNeed and I can understand why. A while ago, before I started using iNeed I had this mod installed. At the time, I was using RND, but have since switched. I don't remember when, but at some time I tried to trim down my NMM mod load and stopped using this mod entirely.
Oddly enough, if you don't go into your Skyrim data folder and remove the WellsOfSkyrim.esp manually, it remains active in your load order without leaving any total or active mod indications in the NMM.
All that aside, I still had it, but didn't know it. I walked up to the well in Whiterun and pulled a bottle of water from it. Yes. Pre-bottled. When my character went to drink it, iNeed did not recognize it and asked me to specify what the beverage was and whether or not it was alcoholic. After determining what this bottle was via iNeed's adaptive script function, it began treating it like any other non-alcoholic beverage!
So the answer is a resounding YES. It is completely compatible, because iNeed can render it so. Even if you didn't realize it was still there in the first place!
My only question now is... why does the WellsOfSkyrim.esp state that it was modified on 3/4/2017???
Hey Thicketford, I messaged you a while back I would like to create a patch for your mod and my needs mod. You would end up getting more traffic and downloads becuase I would be pointing users of my mod here. All I would have on my mod page would be the patched .esp. they would need your scripts etc. from here. Anyway I wont pester you anymore it looks like your not to active anymore but if you pop on and see either my message to you or this message it would be appreciated if you could message me back and let me know if I can patch. You never gave Permission requirements etc on this page.
I was trying to add a water activator by TES5Edit to another mods' well (riverside lodge), but it didn't work. What I did was firstly make your mod master to the target mod, and then creat a wellactivator copied from your mod and put the location xyz of the target well. but nothing happened, is there something that I missed? or is it just not that simple? Forgive me if I was too navie to believe this gonna work.
Just in case if someone wants to use it with the special edition of Skyrim, it works perfectly. I tried it at Whiterun. Thank you for this mod that I use since I play to Skyrim and now with the special edition.
Thanks for the report on RND 2.0. I am going to install this when I get home. Tired of not being able to get water in the cities.
My understanding is RND 2.0 is just RND with some graphical overlays and improved options. I don't think any of the underlying food, recipes, and main data was changed.

Apologies to anyone who was having problems.

Any chance on a patch for 'Riverside Lodge' by Lupus78 or 'LC Build Your Own Noble House' by Locaster?
I want my riverside lodge well working too :)
