No quest after speaking to Jalamar (4 comments)

   Hey folks, having a spot of trouble getting this thing working for me. I've searched everywhere for information about this, but haven't had any luck finding a solution. I've spoken to Jalamar about Echo Deep Mine, and he's marked it on my map. After doing this however, there is no quest in my journal related to it, and no quest markers either. I tried moving forward, making it all the way to the gate just after killing the centurion. I've looted the lexicon and the journal, but when I try to activate the pedestal nothing happens. I've tried reloading and speaking to Jalamar again, to the same effect. I've gone through the motions three times now, with the same results. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

      I went into the mine first, then had similar problems. I was able to use SetStage FSMQ01 11, then activate the pedestal with the Runed Lexicon, then it started acting normally. I haven't gone any further to confirm it keeps working forever. Think you may need to use StartQuest FSMQ01 first.

      I read a journal. Then a quest marker appeared on the dead body for me to loot the lexicon.
      
      If you have too many quest markers in your game, some will not show. Best to turn off all markers except for the quest you are doing.
