NyQuillKY has released patches for other mods that have new arrows. He's also working on the Dragonborn DLC arrows. Be sure to check it out!

you do realize that arrows do not actually spin... unless the fletches are twisted so that the air passing causes them to...which is not the case with most arrows in skyrim.

Actually, arrow spin is not what they do normally. Yes there is such a thing as "helical fletching" and "offset fletching" but it's not mandatory in archery. All it would really do is make it more accurate at longer distances but as a tradeoff would make the arrows slower. In order to make this mod work the feathers on the arrow meshes need to be rotated around the arrow shaft a bit. The way the fletching is setup in all of skyrim's arrows shows that it has "straight fletching," it would fly strait without spin. The only reason for spin is to keep certain projectiles on a stable trajection, but since arrows are longer then say a bullet they are more aerodynamically stable and don't require it, so it's a common misconception.

When I download the optional Immersive Weapons patch, do I merge or overwrite the main file?

I hope you decide to pick this mod up again, update it/rework it for the SSE and upload it to the SSE nexus.

To port this to SSE, all you need is Nif Optimizer.

      If using NMM:
1.Manual download Ultimate Spinning Arrows, and Nif Optimizer compressed file.
2.In NMM, click the green "+" Plus sign and select the Ultimate Spinning Arrows file you downloaded. ->Next step after install
3.Extract Nif Optimizer into its own folder someplace you can find it to use later or make a shortcut next to NMM shortcut.
4.Launch/Run Nif Optimizer, click browse, and locate Ultimate Spinning Arrows folder NMM installed. For me it was
      (\Nexus Mod Manager\Mods\VirtualInstall\Ultimate Spinning Arrows-37358-v1-0\Meshes).
5.Check the box (Sub Directories), then click "Optimize" to fix the MOD.
      6.Play and enjoy.

BTW most NIF only mods "Nif Optimizer" will fix.
If you want more kill cams. I've found the console command on pc seems to work better then the mod.
Type in console: set killmoverandom to 99

The arrows wasn't spinning. Having a closer look through Mods Organizer, i noticed that the files for this mod is being overwritten by Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch Mod. Moving this mod to a later load order however resulting in CTD.

      === LOAD ORDER ===
This mod does not use plugins.

      2. If you meant MOD ORDER IN THE LEFT PANEL OF M.O., ¿Why this mod was installed before USLEEP? USLEEP have to be after the main .esps, so why are you putting MODs between them...

The Unofficial patches always go immediately after the main files...
