I have the same problem. Its probably caused by the fact that the textures for the other guard armors have no textures for the sleeves since they only come in sleeveless variants (if you open the texture files, you'll see the background is black). I don't know why the screenshots show the sleeves as actually having textures. My guess is he was using a texture mod that happens to give sleeve textures for the other guard armors for some reason. I have no idea which texture mod it could be though. I've had this issue both with Better Bethesda Performance Textures and Rustic Clothing, so I can confirm that neither of those fix this. And yes, I've tested them separately. I only installed Rustic Clothing later for Clothing and Clutter Fixes.
Really liked it at first until I instantly spotted at least two guards in the same area bare foot. No boots! Seeing them strutting around bare foot looked incredibly goofy and unbearable. I have Sleeved Imperials and nothing like this has happened before. Hopefully this gets fixed soon
I was doing some digging and I actually found out that Stormcloaks have two armor variants in vanilla. I never noticed this before but there's a sleeved version and a non-sleeved version, but I'm not entirely sure whether vanilla actually uses them or if they're just work-in-progress files that never got used.
i really wanted this mod to work.. but i got the barefoot bug on half of the guards i came upon.. too bad.. please update if you can.. i don't have we and cold like the others if that helps..
Guards occasinally spawn barefoot, no idea why. I'm guessing it's due to clashing with another mod. Someone said it was to do with Wet and Cold, but I'm not sure. Either way it ruined immersion, which is a shame because I really liked this mod.
May I ask which ENB setup you have used for the latest screenshots from March? I really love graphic settings which have this semi-realistic cold and dirty look, and those shots totally nailed it!
Hey I have a question regarding the second and third image on this mod page's image gallery.
Which mod were you using to allow the eye holes to appear that way for guard helmets? I currently use the "Improved Closefaced Helmets" mod by navida1, but the guard helmet eye holes look way bigger than that.
Glitch: occasionally city guards will be barefoot (no boots). Caused by this mod. Could be a conflict between this and Wet and Cold; but looking for conflicts in TESEDIT showed known so I'm guessing it's a levelled item issue or maybe an issue with the textures.
This mod otherwise works great. But the bare feet issue ruined the immersion. Uninstalled.
Wanted to come back - I've been using this mod always since I downloaded it - to say thank you! It makes so much more sense to have the guards wear sleeves. This one has a permanent spot in my load order.

Fun fact I was the one who asked for it to be re-uploaded haha
