I'm playing SSE and have added a LOT of weapons and armor. I need this mod. I tried it and v3.0 from GitHub but couldn't get it to work properly. Please consider updating this. The forge menu really is a cluttered mess.
Can u guys tell which mod is causing the problem because i load them all in tes5edit and applied the script. Can u guys also tell which mod should be applied with the script and which mod i should not apply. The problem is the mod because i tried applying the script to: skyrim.esm update.esm dawnguard.esm hearthfire.esm dragonborn.esm Plz tell me which mod is causing the problem and tell me which mod should i apply the script. Thank You ,if u helped me
I'm sorry, but FMO is extremely out-of-date and I can no longer provide support for it until I have had the time to update it. If you want to use FMO you'll have to figure it out on your own.
Not sure what happened I just copied and pasted the raw script and it seems to work. Another issue is I get the error List index out of bounds (-1) on the NPO Cross Bows:http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/43517/? mod if I apply the sorting script and ask to display prefixes. What does that mean?
Any idea what I could try to fix this error I'm getting? No matter what version of TES5Edit I try, from r1839 (3.0.33) to r1923 (3.1.1) I cannot get the process done.
-The v3.0 of the sorting script just hangs if you choose to display result, finishes fine if you don't. -The v3.0 of the main script just hangs before asking about world models. -The v2.13 of the sorting script is fine. -The v2.13 of the main script goes through asking about patch file and then asking what tab do I want to place a Falmer item if I don't want it in Misc, and whether I just hit OK with a black field or hit cancel, it terminates with "Assertion failure (D:\Projects\TES5Edit\wbImplementation.pas, line "number").
The same happens in all TES5Edit versions I tried and with the newest mteFunctions.pas from your GitHub. =( I even tried combinations of scripts, like sorting with 2.13 and then main 3.0 and the other way around, but always the same results.
Ok, so I was able to do finish the process by making a new file instead of patching into an existing one, also using the v2.13 scripts. Then I merged it with http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/51476/? and it all works fine. I still have the other mods categories and the sorted armor sets with + -.
My problem now is that almost all the armor sets and some weapons are in the Misc category. Now, they do appear in the proper category when I expand them. The Misc entry just changes from + to -. How would I move all the + and - entries from Misc into Heavy/Light sections? A bit annoying having to expand in Misc and then go into Heavy/Light to see the pieces.
"How many armor mods do you have? Have you ever gone to the smithing forge to forge something, and found yourself scrolling down a list of recipes A MILE LONG to find it? Have you ever gotten LOST in the forge menu looking for a recipe?"
I read that, and I came.
Not literally, of course... but holy s#*! if that doesn't sound like me.

FMO is really out of date right now, though I do hope to update it sometime in the near future. Not sure how well it works right now.
Thanks for letting me know.

The file it's saying it doesn't have referenced is a sound from Audio Overhaul Skyrim 2.
