Be sure to check the changelog for a full list of what's new! Obviously, the sword's gotten a total makeover and no longer has all the blarg gradients and stuff. On top of that there's some new fun to be had with the sword's power attack effects!
OH, yeah, and be sure to follow the instructions for updating, you can find them at the Readme tab or in the description.
I'd like to report a bug. When I equip the sword in me left hand, and another sword in my other hand, the other sword gets the same model as the Infinity sword. I don't think it's on my end, too... Great mod though!!!
I have that occasionally with certain weapons in Artifacts of Ultima. I think it's an issue with Dual Sheath Redux, maybe incorrectly set up or missing counterpart meshes. If you are using DSR then that might be the problem since the sword doesn't have DSR meshes available yet.
Your right. Thanks! Any idea when you're gonna make DSR meshes? Also, now it only seams to happen with Silmeri equipped in the right hand and the infinity sword on the left hand, so I think its a conflict.
They shouldn't conflict, there's really nothing in either mod that would cause any headbutting between the two. Really I believe it purely boils down to Dual Sheath Redux. I just put up DSR meshes for the Infinity Sword so give 'em a spin and see if that sorts things out. Remember to run the DSR patcher after you install 'em.
Glad it worked out. :3 My guess is that the problem arose because you had Silmeri's DSR meshes, but due to the Infinity Sword not having any, DSR just overrode the right-hand sword mesh with the left-hand in order to compenaste, rather than not render it at all (or crash). That's just my best guess though.
Someone told me a while back that DSR is so glitchy nowadays since it hasn't been updated in so long. I was advised to not use it. I hope it gets updated sometime because it's a really neat mod.
I think it still works fine, it's just you need to make sure you install things correctly, run the patcher when appropriate, and ensure weapons/shields have their proper DSR meshes. I, personally, would suggest giving it a try regardless of what folk might tell you, since they may have had issues due to their setup or they improperly installed it and just assumed it was a mess.
There currently isn't an unenchanted version available. If and when I do another update for the mod I might add the ability to create an unenchanted replica, but that'd still require getting the OG sword first.
is there any way to change which moves fire which effects, because the fireball is hard to aim, and i'd like to switch it with the basic strong attack, or the backwards heavy. just asking
To do so you'd have to modify the script that controls the power attack effects. I did provide the source code for said script in the BSA, so you can tweak it around as you'd like provided you have some understanding of Skyrim's scripting language. If not I'd be glad to give some pointers.
