What is RLO? FFS, write out the mod names at least once in the description. If you want people to know what you are talking about..

Custom night preset looks pretty good. Will give it a try later on.

Do let me know how it goes. My game is quite modded at the moment so I'm not entirely sure what effect that has on the issue, it shouldn't effect it too much though.

Good looking settings. Currently I'm using ProjectENB & it's SweetFX Preset w/ CoT, but have been looking to try something different out.

Appreciate it, I'll try to test it in-game soon. Either way, endorsed.

      Thanks

I'm still tweaking it as I go. I have been busy with Xvision though so I haven't been playing.

Absolutely understandable, have that one on track atm - Found this preset through that. It looks good, even if some of the children look more like teenagers hahaha. That's something I noticed about Skyrim, there's no middle age. It's either child or adult. Not sure if it's possible to adjust the height for some of the children so they're more like teenagers, that'd be neat. Either way, I like it.

Take care, and make sure you take your breaks to refresh.

I understand completely your desire to be able to just extract a few choice effects from ENBs'. I tried to just get lens flare, but apparently the only mod that did this hasn't been updated for ages and doesn't work anymore. Tracking.

nice update, but I think the SMAA_TRESHOLD value is wrong. you have 0.00 and the author says to use it between 0.05 and 0.20 ( with 0.05 being ultra quality, 0.10 being high quality )

hmm, I can't remember why I had it on 0.. I'll try 5, but if lower means better, wouldn't 0 be even better than 5?

      Tried 5, didn't see any difference :/

Fantastic Sweetfx preset, an updated version is always welcome.

ohh what does Enable 3x oversampling of the beam profile (warning : performance hit) ??? i enabled it because i am a risk taker

No performance hit at all (:, cranked up the smaa, and so on to get that added smoothness.

I currently run all of the above rcrn cot wot and realistic lighting.

      Thanks

I don't know what that or any of the other CRT setting do. I don't use them.

Yes, a few of the settings have warnings about performance but I haven't experienced any drop.

You use RCRN as well as CoT and RLO? I didn't think you could do that.

I hear you, ENB kills FPS for me as well and CoT lighting is way too dull. I had tried some sweetfx presets instead but couldn't find one that didn't oversaturate or make the image look fake, your screens look great.

I'd recommend you download TheCompiler's RCRN plus and take a look at his sweetfx preset, I'm using it with tropical skyrim at the moment and it works very well ( recommended to use technipower at 3.85 to avoid blinding snow ) it might give you some ideas on how to improve your preset.

I also recommend revamped exterior fog, it really helps fighting the vanilla lighting dullness.

keep up the good work, much appreciated

I don't use vanilla at all, I just uploaded the vanilla preset for people who might want it, it was just a quick edit of the CoT preset. CoT and RLO do a nice job of getting rid of the fog, plus the preset does a bit of work on that too.

      you're right, I didn't realize cot+rlo already revamps the exterior fog .

I also recommend you take a look at the sweetfx settings available here http://sfx.thelazy.net/games/game/61/

most make the image look too obviously postprocessed, but more colors and contrast is interesting if you want to see how in v3 he uses liftgammagain instead of tonemap to avoid the possible drawbacks tonemap has.

Yea, CoT defogs the exteriors while RLO works on the interiors. They are an excellent pair, the only thing is the dullness that CoT seems to impose on the image, which is what my preset tries to compensate for.

Those presets look great!, I will have to see if I can carry over some of his ideas into my preset.

could I ask you to upload a couple before/after screenies with this ? http://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/479/

I'm really curious to see how it works out with CoT+RLO but I can't be bothered to make another ad hoc install for it at the moment, I've just finished this tropical one

I had tried more colors and contrast with CoT in the past but it felt oversaturated, I think it fits vanilla best.

I will track for now. I am using E ENB that has SweetFX but, I have a high end system and no problem with FPS. However, several of my friends could use your program. If the screen shots are a preview of what you are developing and a indication of the final mod, I expect you to hit Hot Files. Just remember to release it as a separate mod.

You really think it will get into the hot files? What do you mean "release it as a seperate mod"? can't I just change the version number?
