Thanks for your suggestions. I hope you enjoy the new update!
Dead now? And I just wanted to roleplay as a beggar now. I was gonna say there's a bug. After my char. made 1kor so from a dungeon dive. The begging stopped working. The option still shows, but nothing happens.I even made my char. spend all the money & the dialogue option is still broken.
I wish this was still being worked on. It's a really great idea, that could be a whole lot better. It needs the option of begging from animals removed though. I almost died laughing when I clicked on a dog. And it would be great if the begging dialogue would change so there is more diversity. Maybe with speech bonuses you can ask in more ways that increase your odds (which would be very low from the start)? Also it would be cool if begging from thieves and beggars gives a good chance they will steal from you. Maybe begging from guards would give you a 10 gold bounty. It needs to be harder so it's not just another easy way to get money. I'd really like to see random NPCs respond back that they will give you x coins if you clean their house, shine their shoes, or some other task for them. A waiting screen later and you earn some coin for the passage of time. Also the option of removing the "charity giver immediately becomes your friend" dynamic. That's immersion breaking if you're RPing a devotee of Namira, or otherwise wallowing in your wretchedness. More disgust from NPCs would be awesome.
There are a lot of ways to make this way more immersive and RP. I think it's an awesome idea if someone will implement some more dynamics into it.
- You should get 1 coin with the default setting, not 10 (that's more than bards get for their performance and enough for a night in the inn ...). It should be much harder to get something in general too. - It doesn't make sense that people who give you gold will like you, should be removed entirely, the opposite effect would make more sense. Beg too much / too fast with the same person and he / she will hate and / or punch you, or even call the guards for a small bounty. - And something what all your mods suffer from is that it hooks up to ALL dialogs, remove creatures and followers for example - no one would want to ask them for gold or if they need a fix. ;P
I second this. I wanted to play my character begging, and 3 people started yelling like TAKE ALL MY VALUABLES DON'T HURT ME. And I got gems that were worth like 1000. I had to uninstall sadly, but still a good mod for people who don't mind that kind of thing I guess???
