Howdy - I usually remember these things, even long ago, but I am not sure if it is even a mod. It could just be the hide harness with the game. Or maybe someone made a mod of just the top. I thought maybe that old barbarian loincloth mod but I looked and didn't see it. There was a modular armor kit I used for a short while in LE that probably had it but a guess.
Aye I don't play SE and was unable to provide proper support. I cleaned up a lot of my mods and removed old and out of date ones or ones I could not support. If I ever switch to SE I will upload it with some updates and proper support.
Bummer. I wish you had not taken the SE version down. I would gladly try your SE mod "As is" since I am running a pre AE version of Skyrim SE. It could not work any worse than the other two Erik replacers I could find. For one thing, they are not nearly as good, and they both require hair mods that conflict with KS hair, so I can't really use them since my PCs all have KS hairdos.

Hi - Are you familiar with how Erik the Slayer works in the game? You have to go to Rorikstead, go talk to Erik the Farmer. He talks about wanting adventure and asks you to talk to his father at the Inn. You then talk to the father and convince him to let Erik live his dream as an adventurer. You then have to wait a few days, sometimes a week or more, then return and Erik the Farmer becomes Erik the Slayer and hangs out at the inn as a mercenary.
The above is the VANILLA quest. This mod only affects Erik the Slayer - the version the game references after you complete his hiring quest. So if you install this mod you still need to do the vanilla quest.
Used him on my female vampire daedra hunter playthrough, and I must say, the testosterone on this man is fucking overwhelming. He's like a Viking Jonathan Joestar, a true gentleman and an unbridled manly man whose pure heart will vanquish evil away just with his mere resolve. By Molag Bal, this man might get my female vampire climax just from brushing shoulders with her, let alone fucking her. Such masculinity is erotically criminal. No wonder this man wants out of Rorikstead. The world does not need Erik the Hoe-pusher, the world needs Erik the Pussy Slayer.
Oh and I also have Hoth with me, so yeah, double the testosterone, double the menacing humping. With Lovers Lab's mods, every night is an adventure.
Ah many thanks! Very nice to hear. I still have him in my Skyrim game as well - although I limit him to just one character as they are dedicated to each other.
Hey I just bought Skyrim and don't really like the default character customization options, but I like how Erik looks in your screenshots. Is there some setup to make my character look like this, with the listed mods installed?
His basic looks you would need to import. You could copy his looks from his mod into one of the character nordmale presets using the CK. In-game you could target him (select him) and type in the console "spf npcname" (no quotes, and make sure he is selected). Then open the CK and create an ESP and import the SPF into one of the nordmale presets. Then when you make your character select the imported face you just made. There are tutorials online to explain in more detail. If you use the racemenu (I don't) mod there are simpler ways to do that from what I have been told.
How he looks will also be determined by what mods you use. I use a lot of facial mods so getting his exact look as I have it would be difficult. I would experiment.
I always used Erik until he quit following me. I downloaded your mod hoping he would follow. He look incredible, really good and buff, but he wouldn't follow. he justs sits in the chair in the Inn. I figured out I have to be a Nord to get him through Alternate Life Mod. works well with it, but when I use showracemenu, I loose all my skills. How can I make him get up.
If you are using ALM not much I can do - I don't use that mod or support it. If it says you need to be a Nord then you need to be a Nord. Not much you can do if another mod is blocking access to using him (not sure that is what it does - just going by what your wrote).
TY for your quick response. Poor Erik has been bugged for over a year. I read about fixes for him on Wiki and stuff, but nothing worked. Guess, I have to leave poor Erik behind. He really looks good too. Ty again.
If I don't use the ALM. Just your version alone, He never gets out of his chair. He agrees to follow, but he won't. He's been like that along time. Again I do ty for your time. You modder work so hard and also have to listen to us novices gripe.
HI - Thanks and sorry you have trouble. Erik has never been bugged for me and I have been using him in many different games over 5 years - both vanilla and this mod. I didn't know Erik had bugs - he seems to work great for most folks. Maybe you have a corrupt save - meaning you have added/removed Erik previously, or had a mod that touched his record in some way in the past, and so its creating a conflict because its baked into your save. Could also be some mod conflict in your mod line-up (from the past or current).
Did you convince his father to let him go adventuring? Talk to mralki, that's the innkeeper, and tell him to let his son go out. Go to any non rorikstead village. Wait for 24 hours and return to rorikstead. You can then hire him. Worth a threat.
