Do you find yourself in the midst of a soul gem deficit? Tired of relying on world and merchant respawns just to collect souls?

With this mod, you can forge soul gems at any convenient smelter, using crystals, ingots, and alchemy ingredients already found in the game world. These gems will be empty, so once you craft them, you will need to go forth and kill things in order to fill them.

Smaller soul gems can be easily crafted en-masse from easy-to-obtain ingredients. Larger soul gems may require a bit of gathering. The values of the ingredients of each recipie are analogous to those of the soul gems produced - selling an empty gem yields roughly the same gold as selling the ingredients consumed in crafting one. The limiting resource in soul gem smelting is almost always Amethyst. As such, crafting a relative abundance of soul gems will not interfere with alchemy or smithing.

Realistic Crafted Soul Gems adds additional recipies to the smelter item list. It does NOT alter or add any items in-game, so it should have near-universal mod compatibility. Other mods that add items to the smelter item list appear to work in tandem together.
