This is brilliant, just what I'm looking for.

But I have one minor problem with it and after reading the comments I think other people might be too.

The fur and padding comes out so dark that even at a small distance away in 3rd person the detail disappears and just looks black.

The actual armor itself looks absolutely awesome though.

    Anyway, great job.

Amazing retexture of an already amazing armour set. However, I would love to see a version of this armour where the gold trim is replaced with a dark blue one, to better match Stormcloak characters c:

you have no idea how long i have been looking for a gold CRESTED armor mod. unlike the ones where as soon as you type in gold you get a friggin golden suit of armor that is worse than playing console. in this case im talking about that golden dawnguard armor but i digress. thank you for understanding the need for a gold crested suit of armor

Love the look of this. Now my female Wood Elf character looks like an assault archer than a sneaky archer (used to have Nightingale Prime HD mod for her).
Any plans on doing some retextures for the Nordic weapons to fit with this? Would love to see something like that.

Everything is. If it shows the wrong exposure protection use the "Inspect Equipment" option with the power.

Overall I _LOVE_ the look of this armor...

...however, for me at least, it is way too dark. I'm guessing from the screenshots, that those were taken with ENB? For reasons I won't get into at the moment, I'm not running any ENB -- and when I load this armor up to give it a try, despite standing outside in the daylight and right in front of a fire, it is so dark that I can't even make out any detail in the fur around the neck... and even the metal parts seem like they are much darker than they should be.

I've tested this at the same time as testing a few other textures for the carved armor, and all of the others were drastically brighter (like 30%). I tried reloading the mod to make sure it wasn't something going wrong, but it really just feels like it is too dark (at least for the vanilla game). If there happened to be a lighter version, I would _love_ to use this in my next playthrough.

Either way, wonderful work on an awesomely detailed piece of armor (even though I at least can really only be "teased" by the screenshots here, and can only get a taste of what it should be in game).

Great mod! The armor looks amazing and I i love the lore section.
Is it requires Advanced Armors perk ?
Could you make Ysgramor (in Sovngarde) wear this armor?
There is a similar mod but it uses a standard version of the armor - http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=128287626
I think Nordic Carved Knight Armour would be more appropriate for him.

Might be the English-English spelling of "armour". North Americans might be missing it because they'd spell it differently when they do searches.
