    Thank you so, freaking much! Killcams and killmoves were, frankly, some of the stupidest additions to Skyrim's combat system. 

    Edit: I wish there was a non-esp version, but I'm happy to have this nonetheless.

      Well, some people like the kill move animations, myself excluded.  But, it would have been nice if Bethesda had made it optional for your play through.

      It's pretty obvious to me that they are trying to make Elder Scrolls more like Fallout... and less like Elder Scrolls.

      Killmove could have been a great addition to the game if it weren't so poorly implemented.

      Vanilla killmove is inconsistent with the combat system we have. It just instant kills target regardless the state of your opponents, which includes Block, armor rating, damage reduction, resistances, and hitboxes. You still initiate killmove even if your attack is supposed to miss.

      SE version has 1 mod that initates killmove ONLY when the attack acutally lands on the target and the damage after calculation exceeds targets health. Unfortunately, due to the poor system in the vanilla, it's limited to SE and needs other tools to work.

    : Even being old, it's still a reliable mod. The randomness factor of this feature is beyond nuisance at all sides. Could have been easily solved by a specific button press.

    Sadly it breaks Alduin's Bane Quest in which Alduin can't kill Gormlaith but that can be easily solved by opening the console, selecting Gormlaith and using the command Kill to kill her. Thanks goodness this is the only affected scenario I found when using this Mod. No way I'm going to play Skyrim again without this Mod on my list.

    Hello, is there any way for the mod to only deactivate the killcam and more only for the player, but to let the npc vs npc have them activated? I would like my followers to show their own abilities

    decided to look for no kill cams because i just died to a fireball from a dragon priest, i could not dodge the fireball because my freaking character did a kill move on the enemy and thus locked me from moving and dodging the final attack from the priest, kill moves are so annoying to me

    Posting here since the latest SE version has no post tab.  Does this mod break Alduin's Bane quest (since it removes dragon kill move)?  Also, what is difference between this and "Disable Cinematic Kills" mod?

    I do play this in third person a lot but... oh my GOD I hate these damn things!

    Doesn't care if its my char doing it or some thrice damned bandit coming out of nowhere to one shot my character with a killmove, even when my char HAS FULL HEALTH!!!!!!!!!!

    Grabbing this IMMEDIATELY.

      Yeah, I understand your gripes fully, it's one of the worst things about the Skyrim combat system,
      Though I never play in third person I understand that some players enjoy it... and good for them, I would however say that you should look at some third person animation mods to go along with this, they may need some serious load order manipulation but I'm sure it'd be worth it.

      Oh yeah, the no bloodsplats on the screen mod is wonderful too... (Bethesda, do you realise how dumb bloodsplats on the players screen look, even dumber than wearing trousers with buttons at the back!)

    Thanks for making this mod, i has seriously reduced the killmoves appearing in combat, especially in harder difficulties where you would usually get killed for leaving yourself open after one hit, which is why Stealth Archer is the best haha

    Does this work on npcs and character or only the character? I would prefer not to receive or dish out any kill moves, this mod doesn't specify anywhere that it keeps the player from doing kill moves, I can only know for sure based on the description that it stops npcs from doing kill moves onto the player.

      As far as I know it removes/stops all jarring third person combat cutscenes, I've been running this since 'ever really' and I never rarely get a third person slow-mo kill scene, though it might depend on the load order and other combat mods as over late (in the last couple of years) I've seen a couple of 'invisible sneak throat slits' from my character creep in (and I might have to look at that)
      One of the most annoying was the one where... the player performed a kill move in a celebratory fashion and then got killed her/himself coming out of the slow-mo by and NPC, all too often the player character would glide back into first person after a kill move not knowing what direction they were facing... it was truly horrid.
      This cured all ills connected with that 'dumb cutscene rubbish'*
