I don't think batch files work unless they're in the main folder alongside TESV.exe, and I'm fairly sure NMM won't install files there. You might want to disable the "download with manager" button and put that in the readme.
First of all, thanks for this. Works as advertised, and it's cleared up a big source of frustration.
Second, I think I know one way these mystery bounties pop up. I've noticed guards and some other NPC's becoming hostile if I loot a body that I didn't kill, like if there's a dead bandit outside a town. I've been playing a total law-abiding citizen this time around, not robbing or murdering anybody, but I still kept ending up with these stupid bounties and I think it's because I was spotted "robbing" dead bandits.
It's not exactly great for immersion when my goody two-shoes character starts getting dogpiled by angry blacksmiths and farmers over a $5 bounty, so this BAT file is going to be really useful.
The 5 bounty bug happend today to me when I did The Numbers Job while the ancient assassin was nearby (I guess...). The guard aproched "bla bla bla bla bla". But the dragonborn wos like "yeah I'm from the thieves guild bit**" Solved this.
For the BATCH-File: I recomment changing the 1 to 0 otherwise your stolen items get lost? The Problem I have with this is that "paid bounty XXXXXX" shows up... I hate this. And the funny thing is that you can change all values with cheat engine. However I would rather want to use the set.crimegold command like I did 1 year ago. I don't know what messed up this command but back then I remember that it really changed the bounty to ZERO unlike "> player.setcrimegold 0 29db0 Actor crimegold ...[faction]... has been set to 19000 > player.setcrimegold -19000 29db0 Actor crimegold ...[faction]... has been set to 19000"
Thank you! I have the 5 bounty bug and this mod just might save my game. I shall try it right away.
I tried it and it worked brilliantly for the city bounties, but not for the orc srongholds. Still, this is a huge help. Thank you. Endorsed. It would be great if you could solve the orc bounty too.

I guess it was "tribal orc"? Well I think this happens after you kill The Gourmet.
